As we work to transition all PC players from Easy Anticheat to EA Javelin Anticheat, if you are encountering issues matchmaking into a round (including "Party Not Ready" error messages), we recommend switching your launcher to Steam for a smoother game experience. We are actively investigating these issue and hope to have a resolution soon.

💡REMINDER: EA Javelin Anticheat is now live in Apex Legends on PC! Please update your game before hopping into your next match. We are aware of errors for some players as they transition between systems. We are actively working to address this issue and are hoping to have it resolved soon. This change will give our anticheat teams greater visibility into emerging threats and more flexibility to develop and improve detections as cheating evolves. In response to community feedback, we're making a couple of adjustments to the Street Fighter 6 collab Wildcard event. 🛠️ADJUSTED: - Blocking with drain Fighter Gauge more quickly. Dev note: Some feedback suggested that the Block mechanic felt overtuned and made shooting feel useless, noting that Apex is a shooter, first. This change will allow you to more reliably break a player out of blocking after doing enough damage. - Fighter Mode will no longer be extended by doing damage while in Fighter Mode. Dev note: We've seen instances of players staying in Fighter Mode for tremendously long periods of time, which leads to a feeling like the entire lobby is in Fighter mode for the entire match. - Core Wildcard is returning alongside Apex K.O. Dev note: We see this feedback from the community often whenever we do Wildcard events. While there potential complications by allowing two instances of Wildcard to exist simultaneously, we feel this approach will be most beneficial to players when the Event varies too far from the Wildcard design ethos. We will continue to closely monitor match data and community feedback.

✅FIXED: After an evening of investigating with Sony, this issue was resolved at approximately 2:30am PT. Players who were previously unable to download the update on PS5 should now be to update and play.
