📢 ATTN: Cedar Ridge High School is the next Texas public school with a Muslim prayer room. This is the war on Christians in public school: one faith is boxed out, the other is given free range. Cedar Ridge’s Muslim Student Association posted photos of the space and called it a blessing a place “to pray, reflect, and reconnect with Allah.” The pictures show a “prayer direction” sign, the marker used to face Mecca. They do not show a Star of David, show a Holy Cross, a Bible, or any symbol of another faith. This is not a neutral reflection room. It is set up for Islamic prayer. The same post says students can get a pass to leave class to use it. That pulls kids out of instructional time. Public schools are not allowed to run a religious release period in the middle of class, and Round Rock ISD already voted against creating a daily prayer period under state law. Silent, student-led prayer on a student’s own time is one thing. A school-sanctioned room, marked for one religion, with a hall pass out of instruction, is another. The double standard was already in the library. A check of the district catalog found the Quran on the shelf at Cedar Ridge — two copies — while the Holy Bible was gone and only replaced after exposed. Christian scripture was pulled. Islamic scripture stayed. Same district. Same campus. Donors dropped Ten Commandments posters at Cedar Ridge — 170 of them — and RRISD stored them instead of hanging them.@KenPaxtonTX sued the district for refusing the state law that requires those displays. Christians were told to wait on the courts. Muslims got a room, a direction sign, and a pass out of class. That is not neutrality. Christians are pushed out of their own public schools while another religion is accommodated on demand. At Cedar Ridge, the war on Christians is not a slogan. It is the policy.
