Itโ€™s been two years since we launched DKL in October 2024 โ€” barely five months after breaking ground from scratch in May 2024. Back then we embraced the โ€œChak-a-Chak-aโ€ spirit of the Luo saying (just begin) even though we were barely ready with everything new including personnel, infrastructure, equipment and systems that we needed to put in place let alone zero clientele or accounts. ๐ŸŽž๏ธ This video tells our story of how far and how fast weโ€™ve come to establish ourselves as @DKLDrKalebiLabs in just two years becoming a leading laboratory and a new household name in Kenya and the region. #DKLAtTwo Alhamdulillah ๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿพ

At the heart of this journey is our team. Our vibrant Gen Z staff bring energy, fresh ideas and a willingness to learn, unlearn and relearn. Their dedication helps make DKL what it is every day. In this special three-minute anniversary video, our Founder, Principal Pathologist and Executive Chairman, Dr Ahmed Kalebi,@DrAhmedKalebi and some of the DKL team members share how we began, what sets us apart and our ambitions for the future. Last evening, following a successful 2-day retreat at Lake Kivu Serena in Gisenyi, Rwanda, the leadership of PAFLI surprised me with a special dinner in honour of my recent conferment as a National Hero by H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya. I was deeply humbled to share this moment in the esteemed company of H.E. Dr. Abiy Ahmed, Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, with a celebratory cake cutting to follow. I am truly grateful for this kind and thoughtful gesture. Thank you, PAFLI leadership.

This evening, I joined the PAFLI Board of Directors for a strategic review meeting at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel, Gisenyi, on the Rwanda-DRC border. It was a highly refreshing and forward-looking engagement, with transformative ideas aimed at repositioning inter-faith diplomacy as a cornerstone for continental peace and sustainable development. The future of Africa is promising when dialogue replaces division.

Peace and security in Africa cannot be attained by guns alone. 70% of Africa's conflicts have a religious identity. That is why Inter-Faith Diplomacy is Africa's most powerful untapped tool for peace. When faith leaders speak, communities listen. More than they listen to politicians or the military. Inter-Faith Diplomacy turns pulpits and mosques from places of prayer into platforms for peace. This directly serves AU Agenda 2063, Aspiration 4: A Peaceful and Secure Africa. It achieves it in three ways: 1. Prevention: Faith leaders detect hate speech and radicalization early and stop violence before it starts. 2. Mediation: When governments fail to talk, faith leaders can. They have moral authority that no politician has. 3. Reconciliation:After war, only faith can heal hearts. Governments sign peace agreements, but only faith can bring true forgiveness. We are making sure Agenda 2063 is not just a government document, but a faith-led people's movement. Because Africa's peace cannot be outsourced.

Last evening at the Kigali Serena Hotel, I was deeply humbled to serve as Guest of Honour at the official launch of *PAFLI (Pan-African Inter-Faith Diplomacy Initiative)* โ€“ a continental movement that places faith at the centre of diplomacy. The room was a true reflection of Africa and beyond. I joined diplomats, top government officials, faith leaders, and captains of industry from Mauritania, Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Africa, Netherlands, Spain and other countries. In my keynote address, I noted: โ€œWe gather today not just to launch an organization. We gather to launch a philosophy โ€“ that Africa's peace cannot be outsourced. Inter-Faith Diplomacy is Pan-Africanism in practice.โ€ I paid special tribute to a great son of Africa, *H.E. President Paul Kagame*, for showing the continent that a nation can rise from ashes through reconciliation and visionary leadership. As Bishop Gatabazi Alfred shared, his journey is the very inspiration behind this Pan-African Inter-Faith dream. Highlights of the evening: A historic moment as all faith leaders โ€“ from Islam, Christianity and other faiths โ€“ signed a Memorandum of Understanding to work together as ONE under PAFLI. As Chief Guest, I had the honour of making the official declaration, which was unanimously adopted. We concluded with a beautiful dinner graced by authentic Rwandan traditional music. Truly epic. From Kigali, we have sent a message to the continent: Our diversity is not our weakness, it is our greatest diplomatic strength. Murakoze Cyane, Rwanda. Asante Sana. #PAFLI #InterFaithDiplomacy #PanAfricanism #Agenda2063 #KigaliRwanda TheAfricaWeWant

Africa's future will be built on the strength of our shared values. Amb. Dr. Yusuf Noah

This evening, I joined leaders from all walks of life at Kangโ€™o ka Jaramogi in Bondo for a solemn candlelight vigil in honour of the late H.E. Raila Amolo Odinga. We gathered at his final resting place, where his Mausoleum was recently officially opened by H.E. President William Samoei Ruto โ€” a profound symbol of national unity and recognition. Raila Amolo Odinga meant many things to many people. To the nation, he was a towering statesman. To the continent, he was a Pan-African icon. To me, on a personal level, he was a mentor, a statesman, and a neighbour. His was a life of sacrifice, courage, and unwavering belief in the promise of Kenya and Africa. While his physical presence may be gone, his ideals, his resilience, and his legacy will endure for generations to come. May his soul continue to rest in eternal peace. Amb. Dr. Yusuf Noah

CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE: A SHOUT-OUT TO STN CLEANING SERVICES As we mark Customer Service Week, I was delighted to receive a courtesy call from the team at STN Cleaning Services Company. The delegation was led by one of their Directors, Mr. Adam Suleiman, and their Marketing Manager, Ms. Magdalene, who graciously presented me with a gift hamper. STN is a company I can vouch for with confidence. They have been handling my cleaning services, both office and home, with remarkable consistency and professionalism. In just five years, they have built an impressive operation โ€” with 10 permanent employees and over 30 casual staff, scaling efficiently with demand and season. It is a true story of growth, resilience and enterprise. Their services range from House Cleaning, Kitchen Deep Cleaning, Glass Cleaning, Toilet and Washroom Sanitization, Office Cleaning to Carpet Cleaning and more. They do it all, and they do it with excellence. It is therefore no surprise that their corporate clientele includes respected brands such as DKL Labs, Kentapay, Utumishi House Building, Tenakata, among others. I have always believed that cleanliness is not just about hygiene; it is a reflection of discipline, order, and respect for people. That is the standard STN has upheld. For anyone looking for a reliable, professional and top-tier cleaning partner, I highly recommend STN Cleaning Services. They remain the best in the business. Their HQ: Utumishi Co-op House, 6th Floor, Mamlaka Road, Nairobi, Kenya. Follow them on socials: @sharikatcl15751

Earlier today, I joined family, friends, and colleagues of the late Yusuf Ahmed Musa in Mlimani Village, Eldama Ravine, Baringo County, for his final send-off. From the moving tributes shared by village mates, the local administration, and his colleagues, it was evident that the late Yusuf was truly a man of the people - humble, selfless, and deeply respected. I have known him since I was very young. Our last interaction was in November last year, when I was on my way to Kisumu and made a stop at his workstation in Kipkelion. Little did I know it would be our last meeting. His passing is a great loss, not only to his family but to the entire community he served with dedication. As Muslims, we submit to the decree of Allah. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un. May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, illuminate his grave, and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. My sincere condolences to his family. May Allah grant them sabr and strength during this difficult time. Amb. Dr. Yusuf Noah
