Unpaid carers across Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion are holding our already stretched system together. Many are exhausted and still waiting for respite or a proper package. I’ve been there both professionally and as a carer for my own parents. I won't stop fighting for change.

Great to see independent shops and post offices still at the heart of places such as Tenby. Day in, day out, keeping communities connected especially for older residents and those without easy transport. As representatives, it is our duty to protect these local services.

Yesterday’s Budget was not for the people of Ceredigion Penfro. Plaid are claiming the £100 energy payment as their success. It isn't. Meanwhile more public money is going to Cardiff Parkway, a project originally costed at ~£120m, now expected north of £130m and still rising.

I’m concerned to hear about the C. difficile outbreak on Dyfi Ward at Bronglais. The priority is making sure patients are safe and well cared for. Thank you to the staff caring for patients and managing this situation.

Inspiring visit to Marie Curie’s hospice in Penarth. Truly moved by the staff and volunteers. Palliative care should start earlier with better symptom control and quality of life. I’ll keep pushing for better access in Ceredigion Penfro. Location should never be a barrier. 💛

Today marks World Mental Health Day. Life can be challenging, but nobody should feel they have to face those challenges alone. If you need support, organisations such as Mind Cymru provide advice, guidance and services for people experiencing mental health difficulties.

The WRU's plan to cut 4 professional teams to 3 has left supporters with serious questions. These clubs are more than “just” rugby teams, representing communities and generations of loyal fans. In Reform, we believe the public deserves transparency and their voices heard.

This week in the Senedd I contributed to a debate on Welsh ports and the vital role they play for Pembrokeshire and west Wales. Our ports support jobs and energy security, but they need investment and strong transport links to grow and deliver for communities.

This morning I spoke on BBC Radio Wales Breakfast regarding the reported Scabies outbreak in Hywel Dda Hospitals. I have asked the Welsh Gov't for an urgent update, I am still yet to hear from them. It's crucial we know how this occurred and how we can prevent another outbreak.
