.@jamestalarico: The problem with Ken Paxton is not that he didn't grow up in Texas. It's that he doesn't understand Texas. I believe anyone can be a Texan. It doesn't matter if you're an 8th generation Texan like me, or if you just got here. What makes a Texan is deep in the heart. Texas used to be known as the friendly state. Friendship is our official state motto. The word Texas comes from a Native American word for 'friend.' They used that word to describe a friend in a different tribe. Friendship across tribes. Friendship across divisions. That's what makes Texas so great.

Everyone — the election is in eight days.
I promise you’ll all have time to argue about 2026 overperformances & underpeformances — and what that means for the future direction of the party — for all of 2027 & most of 2028.
But right now I am begging you all to lock the fuck in.

The Ramaswamy ad has pushed the largest newspaper in Ohio, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, to reverse its position on endorsements.
"A candidate who uses childhood sexual abuse as a weapon against the person who endured it has crossed a line that Ohioans should defend, whatever their party. We are better than this. We have a responsibility to show it. Today we endorse Democrat Amy Acton for governor." cleveland.com/open/2026/10/w…
Lots to unpack here but Trump says Bill Maher is an unfunny loser pothead/drunk and the recent dinner was a waste of time.
TRUMP: Let's talk about this COMPLETE AND TOTAL LOSER, Bill Maher.
When I became President, I agreed to meet, after the first one, and the last one, but never agreed to do his show, which he wants me to do, DESPARATELY
I believe he lied to me when I asked him, with all the applause and laughter he gets after almost everything he says, about thing that aren't funny or even any good, what Laughter Machine does he use? People can't think he's funny.
Bill was very nervous. He asked for a drink. He was very insecure, and he had a seriously bruised eye and nose area, as though somebody had just beaten him up — But it wasn't me!
No sooner had we had that first dinner at the White House, which is a very seductive and beautiful place, especially now that I have fully renovated and fixed it in the style which it deserves, Bill wanted to come back.
Also, I wanted to tell Bill that he's a major POTHEAD. He's got to stop, it's very bad for his health. He looked like hell this time. Bill was drunk and had alcohol in his hand as he walked through the White House. Stephen A. Smith and Kid Rock came along with him.
I learned nothing, and felt it was a waste of time. After the first dinner, Bill Maher was friendly, I guess, everyone walked away pleased.
After the second dinner, Bill's "show" was far worse than the first. He went crazy! He's gutless, because he enjoyed every minute.
Also, I am not a building a swimming pool in the White House Briefing Room, and never had any intention of doing so.

An analysis of voter registration records reveals Republican operative Scott Presler had 3 out-of-state voters use his Pennsylvania address to vote in the 2024 election.
This is a textbook example of voter fraud.

1. I am sometimes asked if it would be better to leave Donald Trump alone, given that the immediate consequence of impeaching and removing him would be President JD Vance.
Well of course.
Every accusation is a confession.
NEW: Scott Presler allowed multiple out of state GOP operatives to use his home in Pennsylvania to vote in the '24 election. Those operatives then left the state. Election lawyers say this could be in violation of PA voting laws.

Media finally cracking down on this delusional dementia patient's babbling and lies.
Refreshing, if years too late.
Trump on Amy Acton: "If what the mother said about the daughter is half right, she has no right even running for the governor of Ohio..."
KC: What about what the daughter said about the mother?
TRUMP: "I don’t know what she said."
KC: "That the mother remained married to her stepfather who sexually abused her when she was 12 years old."
TRUMP: "When did she make that statement? Was it just recently?"
KC: "Years ago. He was charged with it."
Why people like me (normie lib/moderate Dem) have come to *despise* most of the media.
Troy Jackson's "shut up" retort was the subject of breathless, outraged coverage for days, he was asked to defend it in interviews and press conferences.

If Jared Kushner wasn’t Trump’s son-in-law, and if the Trump family and admin weren’t inherently corrupt, he’d be under investigation for bribery, operating as an unregistered foreign agent, lying on disclosures, and money laundering.
This is what a corrupt oligarchy looks like.
The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…
