"The playing field is level. They're all professional athletes being paid. What's taking place between the lines, the actual play, away from the courts and all the problems we're experiencing, is the best basketball I've seen in 20 years."

Every HC in the country that signed an international player is meeting with their ACs right now

The NCAA spent and waisted money on writing bylaws that told schools they could provide bagels to athletes but could not add cream cheese. If so it was a violation. SMDH

Steph is at the very end. They will not invest big again until he is gone. This is when they will pay big to get a younger star and put players around them.
DeMarcus Cousins SOUNDED OFF on the Warriors' front office 😳
"I think [Mike] Dunleavy has done a sh*t job as far as putting a roster around Steph Curry. Why this guy still has a job, I'll never know. They're still running the same outdated system as far as going extremely small... it doesn't work anymore. The system is outdated."

We had the opportunity to produce #SJUBB vs. Texas yesterday at MSG and wanted to be sure to remember our friend Kenny Klein.
Coach Pitino, the Johnnies and #L1C4 are honoring him in a special way this season.
Kenny & DK, we'll keep you close always.

Alex Caruso says it has become “cool to not watch basketball,” arguing that highlight culture and viral storylines are overshadowing the actual game
Caruso believes basketball coverage has shifted away from breaking down great plays and showing fans the best moments from games toward chasing whatever generates the most clicks and attention. He says he misses the old SportsCenter format, where viewers could catch several minutes of highlights from different games before the Top 10 plays. Caruso argues that the focus on entertainment, clip farming and eye grabbing storylines is drawing attention away from the quality of basketball itself.
Of course. It’s Rick “ The Ruler” Pitino. He will have it no other way. Believe me i know!!!!!!!!
Stop rehearsing the version of life you don’t want and start rehearsing the version that makes you excited to wake up each day and move the needle with!
What some people don’t understand is we are in a new era. Schools don’t wait for the season to complete before offering a coach a contract. If a school sleeps when their coach is offered they can lose their coach. Just the times we are in.
Most definitely! Time is of the essence as they say. First big test of the new regime!
7-1 a PERFECT time to get a new deal for @CoachWillStein because the longer the wait— the more bidders that come in & the more the price goes up!
