How many tattoos yall got? And which is your fave and why? This is my fave. It’s a portrait of my son Aidan before he passed away from childhood cancer. When I took the photo I asked him what he thought about cancer and the finger was his response! It became a pretty viral pic amongst the cancer community.
Tragic breaking news from CFB Wainwright in Alberta.
A serious incident on Saturday afternoon led to an explosion and a major fire at the base. Defence Minister David McGuinty has confirmed there are fatalities and injuries, but officials have not released an official count. Global News, citing multiple military sources, reports at least seven people have died and dozens are injured.
Global News also reports, citing Canadian Armed Forces sources, that a live fire exercise may have struck a gas line or gas well. That has not been confirmed by officials, and the cause remains under investigation by the military and RCMP.
The fire spread beyond the base fence amid wind gusts reported as high as 100 km/h. Fire crews from multiple jurisdictions responded. Wainwright’s medical facilities were overwhelmed, and injured people were transported to Edmonton hospitals. As of the latest reports I found, no evacuation order had been issued, but residents were being asked to stay away from the area and keep roads clear for emergency crews.
This is still developing. My thoughts are with everyone killed or injured, their families, the military community, and the people of Wainwright.
Listen you fat old demented fuck! What Canada has, has not a fucking thing to do with you! We had healthcare long before you, and we’ll have it long after you’ve turned to dust in the ground somewhere.
Trump: I do not want to lose $90 billion for the privilege of allowing Canada to have a healthcare system and other things that they shouldn't have. They spend our money!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The statement in the video misstates the US-Canada trade deficit as a $90B loss subsidizing healthcare; the goods and services deficit was $27B in 2025 and stems mainly from US purchases of Canadian oil while Canada's system is funded by its own taxes.

Have my Albertan friends seen this page made for TPAs? Here is a corporate entity that doesn’t exist anymore donating to separatists. But wait it’s get way more insane 👇🏻

This fucking team with a lead is ridiculous!!! #passionneversleeps
Albertans, the vote is Monday, October 19.
The separation question is the first ballot in the stack. It asks if Alberta should remain a province of Canada, or if the government should start the legal process toward a binding vote on separating.
Mark REMAIN.
Here's why it matters:
1A "leave" vote isn't a free test run. It tells the government to begin the legal process toward separation.
2Even the Premier says she's voting to remain.
3Over 400,000 Albertans signed the petition to keep Alberta in Canada. That's more than the number required for the ballot.
4Any real exit would run through the federal Clarity Act, which requires a clear question and a clear majority.
5Recent polling has remain well ahead, but polls don't vote. Showing up does.
You can be angry at Ottawa and still vote to stay. Fight for a better deal from inside the country, not by walking away from it.
Remain. Then tell three friends to do the same.

Just wondering, did DRIPA not make sense when you were lobbying for your nation to get the funding ? Or is reconciliation only bad for other FN in BC ?
Chief @Aaronpete_ argues that DRIPA has “created more uncertainty” in BC:
“It’s starting to carry so much baggage, and there’s so much confusion about what it means that I don’t think we’re having the conversations we need to have.”
Ladies, honest question: when you dress for the gym or choose a more revealing outfit for a night out, what’s behind it for you? Comfort, confidence, feeling good about yourself, personal style, getting attention, or something else?
A lot of men on here seem convinced it’s all for their eyes. I’m curious what women actually say.
Eminem spent years calling out Trump and maga. Now he’s lending his voice to Kid Rock, one of maga loudest supporters, for his new album. You can call it friendship, but it still looks hypocritical. At some point, your actions have to match what you say you stand for. Not ok with this.
It’s William Nylander night tonight baby!!! 4-3 leafs and 4 points outta Willy!! #Passionneversleeps
