Servidor recibiendo un briefing muy interesante por parte del coronel jefe del Ala 31. La cabina es muy amplia, "muy Airbus", con los joysticks a los lados; por cierto, ¿se han fijado alguna vez que el C-17 lleva los joysticks un pilar central, pero sin palanca?
Este A400M lleva una pantalla extra en el puesto central, que no es habitual en la flota española. Muy positiva esta visita, me llevé muy buena sensación del A400M.
🔵 Dibujos con historia
Ayer entregué al coronel jefe del Ala 31 un trabajo artístico que me encargaron para una de las salas de esta emblemática unidad del @EjercitoAire cuya base está en Zaragoza.
El dibujo representa a uno de los A400M despegando del aeropuerto de Wadi Seidna (Sudán) durante la Operación de Rescate de Personal No Combatiente (NEO por sus siglas en inglés) que se inició el viernes 21 de abril de 2023.
El dibujo tiene unas medidas considerables, aproximadamente 65x50cm y está basado en una fotografía de Yubephoto tomada en Ablitas (España), pero con todos los cambios incluidos en el T.23-12 (31-32), algo distinto en detalles al de la foto de Yube.
Agradecer desde aquí el trato recibido por los miembros de la tripulación del A400M (AME3126) y en especial, al coronel jefe del Ala 31, que me acompañó durante la visita al T.23-13, una de las unidades más nuevas de la flota.

🚨 SECOND HELICOPTER CRASH IN INDONESIA IN JUST FOUR DAYS!
On November 8, a BNPB-operated Airbus Helicopters H225 Super Puma crashed into the Barito River while collecting water for firefighting operations in South Kalimantan. Local residents helped rescue two crew members.
Tragically, this follows the November 4 crash of an Indonesian Army Mi-17V5 (HA-5235) during a similar mission, which claimed three lives. Five others survived.
The flight data recorder has been recovered, and the investigation is ongoing.

🇫🇷🇵🇱🇺🇦 NEW: FRANCE TO TAKE OVER AIR DEFENCE OF NATO’S KEY UKRAINE SUPPLY HUB IN POLAND
From January 1, 2027, France will assume responsibility for air defence around Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport in southeastern Poland as part of a NATO mission.
The airport serves as the main logistics hub for Western military aid deliveries to Ukraine.
According to French Ambassador to Poland Étienne de Poncins:
• French air defence systems will be deployed to protect the area for the first time.
• The French systems will operate alongside US-made Patriot batteries, allowing NATO to test their interoperability.
• Dutch Patriot systems currently protect the airport, with the Netherlands’ deployment ending in December.
• Sweden is also scheduled to deploy Patriot systems to the area in December.
The French deployment’s duration has not been announced, and the specific French air defence system has not yet been identified.
