TY 🙏 to the people of #PA15 for the trust you've shown in me, time & again. After my family, representing you & carrying your voice to Washington has been the joy & honor of a lifetime. #PA15Proud youtube.com/watch?v=U3ObIqxo…
Seriously, Zacharia was set up for failure. The WH rushed her into a demanding role that requires weeks, if not months, of serious preparation. No one deserves to be treated this badly.
Since starting her job on Monday, Katie Zacharia served about half a Scaramucci. One Scaramucci is 11 days. Consequently, one Zacharia is 5 days. Congratulations on becoming a new unit of time. Well done.
Condolences to the family of US Senator Lindsey Graham. I worked with him on State Department spending bills where he was constructive on Ex-Im Bank & overseas development. He was passionate about causes he championed, whether or not you agreed. Deepest sympathies. May he RIP.
My friend Dan Glickman’s memoir, “Laughing At Myself,” is being republished. Check it out. It’s a great & humorous read.

News Alert: Nippon Steel now owns 100% of US Steel, paying $14.1 billion. The company will also retain its name and Pittsburgh headquarters. This is a good deal for steelmaking in the USA. Trump was right to reverse Biden’s misguided decision.
Here’s my latest oped with Dan Glickman on tariffs and US disengagement. msnbc.com/opinion/msnbc-opin…
Ag Sec Rollins said on CNN @Jaketapper today that the US exports no corn to Mexico & no dairy to Canada. Wrong on both counts. In 2024, we exported $5.6 billion in corn to Mexico and $1 billion in dairy to Canada. After Mexico & Canada retaliate, the Secretary could be right.🤦♂️
Here’s a better link to my previous post on tariffs.

Former Ag Sec Dan Glickman & I wrote this piece on tariffs last October. Hate to say “I told you so,” but…… thehill.com/opinion/4916...(Actually, I love telling you “I told you so.”)
Political earth quake in Lancaster County, PA. A state senate seat flipped that no Republican should ever lose. Lancaster has been the most reliable Republican County in PA for decades. Is anyone nationally paying attention? Watch the FL spec election for Mike Waltz seat.
So saddened by the passing of my former colleague, U.S. Rep. Mia Love of Utah. Such a kind and delightful person taken from us at such a young age. Condolences to Mia’s lovely family and many friends. Deepest sympathies.
Disgraceful display today in the Oval Office by DJT & JDV who bullied & disrespected Zelensky publicly. 80 years of transatlantic partnership is blown up to appease Putin. Trump betrayed Ukraine as well as American values & interests in Europe. The Greatest Generation weeps.
Celebration in Moscow. Trump & JD bullying Zelensky. Shameful. Trump trying to force Ukraine into a surrender agreement with Putin. Total betrayal of Ukraine & contemptible shake down of a man & country fighting for survival.
Trump has discarded 80 years of American leadership and engagement in Europe that has prevented Great Power conflict and WWIII. He undermined our country’s interests to betray Ukraine and appease Putin. Utterly dishonorable & shameful.
Trump’s detestable comments regarding Zelensky willfully ignore the sacrifices of the Greatest Generation who bequeathed to us a world without great power conflict for 8 decades. #Reprehensible.
