I was a leader in the House in passing the CHIPS and Science Act, which has turned AZ into a global technology and manufacturing hub.

Chandler Flex is an essential part of getting around the city. It gets students to high school, seniors to their appointments, & workers to their jobs, all for just $2.
Thousands of residents count on it day in & day out. That's why I worked in Congress to bring home $1 million to expand Flex to more of the community.
It was great celebrating its success with @ChandlerAZMayor Hartke and @CityofChandler Council.

Proud to lead my colleagues in the @DemWomenCaucus, alongside @Rep_Grijalva and @RepGregStanton in condemning in the absolute strongest terms the grotesque attack and rape committed against Bernadette Greene-Placentia.
No candidate for office should ever have to fear for their safety because they chose to participate in our democracy.

“We're not going to be intimidated.”
@RepGregStanton says he’ll keep doing his job after a suspicious letter addressed to his Mesa office was intercepted before delivery. Letters were also sent to fellow Arizona Democrats Yassamin Ansari and Adelita Grijalva.
Stanton praised the FBI and Homeland Security for protecting his staff, who handle incoming mail. “They’re really the ones most at risk.”

Honored to join Arizona’s Indian American community on Sunday for Bathukamma, a flower festival from the state of Telangana. We also celebrated the AZ Telangana Association’s 21st anniversary with Sen. Priya Sundareshan and @MayorGallego.
Bathukamma Shubhakankshalu!

A potential storm is arriving in the state tomorrow. You know what to do:
🛞 Check tires and wiper blades before going out.
📷 Turn on headlights.
📷 Avoid flooded roads & washes.
High impact weather continues to look likely Wed-Thu. A Flood Watch is in effect across much of SC/E AZ. In addition, isolated strong to severe storms leading to damaging winds, large hail, and even a very small chance (<5%) of an isolated tornado will be possible. #azwx
Great morning this weekend at @MesaVFW helping @WillowOakAllian kick off its first-ever food pantry and hand out groceries to our neighbors in need.
Mesa veterans and families now have a new place to turn for help thanks to David Friend, Commander Chitwood, and @UnitedFoodBank volunteers.

Congressional Republicans seem more worried about showing loyalty to Trump than protecting our democracy.
@RepGregStanton explains.
This weekend, the FBI Phoenix Field Office and the AZ Department of Homeland Security informed me, @RepYassAnsari, & @Rep_Grijalva that suspicious letters had been sent to our offices.
Similar letters, many containing unknown substances, have been mailed to elected officials across the country. The FBI and @USPIS_HQ are investigating.
We're grateful to law enforcement for acting quickly and keeping our staff and communities safe. We will not be intimidated, and we'll keep doing the work that Arizonans elected us to do.
Financial literacy opens doors to college, entrepreneurship, and homeownership.
I spoke to @GemMiddleSchool students about smart money management to kick off a fun Financial Soccer event with @USWNT legend @JulieErtz.
Thanks for having me during AZ Credit Union Week!
Mesa sounded great this weekend!
Stopped by @MesaMusicFest today with Councilmember Duff (@MesaDistrict4) this weekend. From up-and-coming bands to food trucks and local art, it was great seeing the community out supporting our artists.
Happy 120th birthday, @MesaLibrary!
Libraries give kids the confidence to read, the freedom to explore, and the tools to chase their dreams. They’re also a lifeline for our community, helping job seekers find work, getting neighbors online, and bringing people together.

Today is World Food Day, yet millions of Americans are going hungry because of Republican cuts to SNAP and the rising cost of groceries due to Trump's tariffs.
New Dems will continue fighting against these reckless policies so that no American has to go hungry.
Over 100,000 Arizonans lost health insurance this year because of the inaction of the MAGA majority in Congress.
No one should have to wait until it’s an emergency to see a doctor. I’m fighting to restore the Affordable Care Act tax credits to lower your healthcare premiums.
ICE just gave GardaWorld a $1.2 billion contract to expand the Florence detention center.
At the same time, the company is still avoiding answering questions about its experience & credentials to transform a Surprise, AZ megawarehouse into another detention facility.
@RepYassAnsari, @Rep_Grijalva, and I are pressing for answers.

From chips to helicopters to copper, we’re building America’s future here in Arizona. But our roads, water infrastructure, and power grid have to keep pace.
I joined @ShopFloorNAM and AZ manufacturers at @BenchElec in Tempe for a tour and roundtable about the bipartisan infrastructure and highways bill. We need to get projects built and invest in the infrastructure our families and businesses count on.
.@GovernorHobbs and the State of Arizona are right to challenge the Trump administration’s decision to leave extreme, disproportionate cuts to our share of Colorado River water on the table.
Arizona has led the way on conservation. We use less water today than we did 50 years ago. We will keep working toward a fair and equitable long-term solution for the entire Basin. But let there be no doubt: Arizona will defend our water rights and fight for the future of our state.
BREAKING: Arizona has joined a lawsuit by Nevada over the Trump administration's plan to impose major water cutbacks. Top official Tom Buschatzke says the cuts in the state's Colorado River water allotment “would devastate Arizona’s economy.” latimes.com/environment/stor… @latimes
