Thank you to the East Flagler Mosquito Control District for inviting me to witness first hand how independent mosquito control districts function!
It was a great opportunity to join fellow legislators at Kennedy Space Center to get a firsthand look at the innovation shaping the future of America’s space program.
Florida continues to lead the way in space innovation, technology, and exploration.
I’m proud to support the work that keeps the Sunshine State at the forefront of this critical industry and strengthens America’s dominance in space.
Thank you to Clay County for inviting me to read the names of some of our fallen heroes at today’s 9/11 memorial.
It was a moving ceremony featuring Governor DeSantis, local elected officials, and most importantly, the brave men and women in uniform from our own community.
25 years later, we must never forget that tragic day or fail to honor our first responders and their sacrifices.

A quarter of a century has passed since September 11, 2001, when the peace of our Nation was shattered by terrorists.
Today, we remember the 2,977 precious lives taken from us, honor the heroes who answered the call, & keep their families in the heart of our Nation.
Above all, we must ensure the memory of 9/11 never fades, but is carried from one generation of Americans to the next.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Team Sapp attended Women Build 2026 sponsored by Habitat for Humanity Clay.
We were able to help construct 2 new homes for families in need in Green Cove Springs!
Last session we were able to help secure $350,000 for the Rural Aviation STEM Program!
Happy to see it’s taking flight and already a success!
Congratulations to the first student to receive his pilot’s license and all of Putnam County Students that will benefit from this program!

The Florida State Guard aircraft remain on mission as wildfire activity continues to evolve across Florida, most recently in Clay and Putnam Counties. Our fixed wing and rotary-wing crews are actively covering wide sections of the state—mapping fire lines, confirming new flareups, and relaying real time photos, video, and GPS tagged intel to support ongoing ground and air suppression efforts. Close coordination with Air Traffic Control ensures our teams can stay ahead of rapidly changing conditions and help protect the communities in the path of these fires.
