A tremendous honor and a tribute to the incredible work of our district office team. We always put constituent service first.
Kaiser Permanente breaks ground on a new healthcare center in Folsom!
Yesterday, I joined the groundbreaking ceremony for a new 187,000-square-foot outpatient facility that will include 60 clinical offices offering a wide range of care options in one convenient location.
Some of these services include urgent care, mental health services, expanded outpatient surgery, advanced imaging, and much more.

I had the opportunity to meet with college students at Jessup University in Rocklin. I spoke to an American Government class about the workings of Congress, the legislative process, and discussed current events. It was so encouraging to see young, eager students ask such great questions and express interest about how their government operates. Thanks for having me!
UPDATE: My office is open and fully committed to serving you. Our work on your behalf continues, and I encourage you to contact us as you normally would for assistance with casework, constituent service requests, meeting requests, or any other questions or concerns. Serving the people of our district remains our central mission.
Head Start is vitally important to families in our area. I will allows fight to protect it.
Thank you to Congressman Kevin Kiley for visiting the Lincoln Early Learning Center (Head Start) this week, and to @_KidzCommunity for hosting us! 🙌 This beautiful new center, complete with an amazing outdoor space, is a wonderful place for little ones to learn & grow.
It was an honor to recognize Chief Reginald Williams of the Rocklin Fire Department on his retirement after 32 years in the fire service, including six years serving the City of Rocklin.
Chief Williams has earned the respect and admiration of the firefighters he has led and the residents he has served. His tireless work has strengthened the Rocklin Fire Department and helped position it to meet the needs of the community for years to come. Thank you, Chief Williams, for your outstanding service and commitment to public safety. I wish you a happy and fulfilling retirement.
Congratulations to Chief Billiter on assuming the role. I look forward to working with you!
I am pleased to announce that my office is once again hosting the 2026 Congressional App Challenge. This competition is aimed at encouraging middle and high school students to learn how to code by creating their own applications. The challenge highlights the value of computer science and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education.
Each app will be graded by an independent panel, and all awards will be commemorated with a Congressional Certificate of Recognition and will be displayed on my website. Last year, more than 4,600 original apps were submitted from students across the country that focused on real-world challenges ranging from health and accessibility to education, sustainability, and civic engagement.
Additionally, the first-place winner(s) will receive an invitation to the #Houseofcode Celebration located in Washington, D.C., and the winning app will be:
• Displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building
• Featured on the House of Representatives’ website (House.Gov)
The deadline to submit an app is October 26 at 9:00am PT, and you can submit here: urldefense.com/.../go.sparkp… See less
It was great to be with the San Juan Water District and members of the community yesterday to celebrate the progress being made on the Kokila Reservoir Replacement Project.
This is an important investment in our community’s water infrastructure, and I’m proud to have helped secure over a million dollars in federal funding to support this project.
The Kokila Reservoir has served our community for more than 40 years, providing water storage for San Juan Water District and being an essential backup during emergencies.
This project will not only modernize aging infrastructure, but will also help ensure the continued delivery of safe and reliable drinking water to the many customers it serves.
Yesterday, I attended the Semper Fi Association of Lincoln and the Southwest Placer County Toys for Tots kickoff of the 79th annual toy collection season.
Last year, 27,903 toys were collected and given to 12,480 children across Southwest Placer County and local cities through 17 charities and a family distribution event.
This tremendous outpouring of supporting, to assure every child can experience the joy of the holiday season, says so much about the values of our area. Find out where you can drop off a toy here. lincoln-ca.toysfortots.org/.…
If there is any issue that shouldn't be partisan, it is stopping fraud. And California unfortunately has more of it than any state. $32 billion in unemployment fraud alone.
When fraudsters steal unemployment funds, people out of work lose support.
When fraudsters steal SNAP benefits, hungry families lose meals.
When fraudsters steal Medi-Cal funds, patients lose care.
When fraudsters steal homelessness funds, people lose shelter.
When fraudsters steal financial aid, students lose educational opportunities.
When fraudsters steal hospice funds, people lose comfort and dignity at the end of life.
When fraudsters steal veterans’ benefits, those who served so valiantly lose support.
When fraudsters steal SBA funds, local businesses lose help.
When fraudsters steal workers’ comp funds, injured workers lose treatment.
When fraudsters steal child care funds, working families lose care for their kids.
We've sent a bipartisan, bicameral letter to the Interior Secretary opposing any plan to turn over part of Yosemite to private development. Yosemite is a national treasure that must always belong to the public.
Today we remember all who lost their lives on one of the most tragic and fateful days in our nation’s history 25 years ago.
It is also an occasion to remember how we saw America at its very best: from the heroism of our first responders and ordinary citizens, to the way we came together as a country and put all of our differences aside.
Perhaps the best tribute we can pay is to find ways of recapturing that spirit of American unity.

Californians never voted to ban gas cars. Californians never voted to ban tires. Californians never voted for a new healthcare tax – to the contrary, they expressly forbade it.
We're fighting to protect the will of California voters from the schemes of Sacramento politicians.
Yosemite is a national treasure that belongs to the public. I am absolutely opposed to turning over any part of it for private development and am asking the Secretary of the Interior to abandon any such plans.
