Sean Connery’s introduction in DR. NO (1962) became one of cinema’s most iconic moments. Director tweaked the timing of Connery’s lighter flick, letting the smoke clear before the line landed. A small adjustment that helped create movie history.

Johnny Chan’s trap at the 1988 World Series is still one of the coldest hands ever played.
Chan flops a straight and just calls. Erik Seidel walks right into it, shoves the river, and Chan snap calls for back-to-back world titles.
The footage was later used in the movie Rounders, where Matt Damon’s character rewatches it over and over to study how Chan plays.
