I am grateful to have secured $26 million in vital funds that will make our skies and community safer.
The Trump administration just called Putin a "humanitarian".
He has:
- Invaded Ukraine
- Imprisoned U.S. citizens
- Kidnapped children
- Bombed civilians
- Overseen massacres
- Imprisoned and silenced political opposition
Releasing one prisoner does not make this war criminal a "humanitarian”.
Even the SCC staff thinks this merger is a bad idea. They agree with @SenWarren and me that the merger risks higher utility bills for Virginians, reduces competition, and creates the largest utility monopoly in the country.
Dominion and NextEra have not made the case for how they would protect Virginians long term.

Farmers are hurting because of:
- Trump's tarrifs closing export markets
- Trump's Iran war raising fuel costs
- Trump's freezes on grants for farms
- Trump's favoring big corporations over small- and medium- sized farms
This is just a band-aid for a crisis created by this administration.

I hope this tank can serve as a symbol to those who drive by of what service, bravery, and heroism is.
