A productive day in San Carlos with Speaker Montenegro and Rep. David Cook! We met with tribal leaders and visited a local lumber operation to learn firsthand about Apache forestry practices and the importance of natural resource management. Grateful for the conversations.

I’m the son of Mexican immigrants, an Iraq combat veteran, and the first Latino Chairman of the AZGOP. I don’t need a poll to tell me how much the Latino vote matters here. I live it.
As soon as I took over as Chairman, I created a Latino Communications Director position. Why? Because we’re not just stopping by for photo ops during campaign season. We’re in the community continuously, and we’re sticking around long after election night.
Democrats look at voters like line items on a spreadsheet. They knock on doors when they want your vote, then condescend to you the rest of the time.
We don't do that. We fight for every single Arizonan, period. The American dream belongs to everyone, no matter your age, faith, or background.

Signed into law: HB 2312 lets Arizona principals allow groups like the Scouts, FFA and Little League to address students during school hours, and bars schools from denying them equal access to meet. #AZLeg #Scouts @AZHouseGOP @RepTonyRivero

Today marks three years since the horrific October 7th attacks in Israel.
We remember the innocent lives taken, the families forever changed, and the Jewish community that continues to carry the pain of that day.
I will always stand with our Jewish community—and with the forces of light against the armies of darkness.

I once served under a Army Command Sergeant Major who drilled one lesson into his soldiers:
“Choose the hard right over the easy wrong.”
I challenge my colleagues to live by that wisdom. Leadership demands the courage to do what is right—even when it comes at a political cost.

My thanks to Senator Frank Carroll, Senator @AZDavidGowan, Senator Brian Fernandez, @RepTonyRivero, Representative @JustinWilmethAZ, @dbseiden @AZChamber, & Dr. Lily McElwee & @pcfrarizona, and all our partners for their leadership and commitment to advancing this relationship.
Saddened to hear of Senator Kyl’s passing. Interning in his office was one of my earliest experiences in politics, and he set a standard for leadership and public service that stayed with me. A truly great man and an incredibly effective leader.

Twenty-five years ago on September 11th, I woke up to head in for another day at Coolidge High School. My alarm was set to have the radio come on and when it came on, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Some person had crashed a plane in to one of the towers of the World Trade Center. I turned on the tv and there it was. At that time, it wasn't being reported as an act of terror because most weren't sure what type of plane had crashed in and almost nobody knew it was deliberate. And then the second plane hit and our nation's collective heart sank. Before long, planes would fly in to the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania. I'll never forget that feeling of confusion, sadness, and anger. Even today, just thinking about it creates a lump in my throat and a flood of emotion. As always, we pray for the victims and their families. We pray for the servicemen and women who defend our freedom today, and those who defended it in the aftermath. We also pray for our first responders who answered the call that day. Their bravery is something I may never fully comprehend. They did their duty, ran in to buildings that would soon crumble, and many paid the ultimate sacrifice. #NeverForget
