The One Big, Beautiful Bill is one big, beautiful win for the American people.
"...we have a chance to seize on a generational opportunity to help put more Americans back on the path to the American Dream."

Touring FEDCO's Monroe facility with Secretary @Sonderling47 was a great opportunity to see American manufacturing growth in our backyard.
FEDCO is expanding its footprint with a $23 million expansion, which will create good-paying jobs in Monroe. This growth is possible due to policies that are providing businesses with the certainty they need to invest in America's future. We must continue to work together to support Made-in-Michigan manufacturing!

A win in the fight against human trafficking.
President Trump signed Chairman @RepWalberg’s bipartisan bill into law, helping frontline @USDOL employees recognize the signs of trafficking and identify people who need help.

Radical indoctrination instead of reading, writing, and math.
Committee Republicans’ investigation exposed how K-12 schools pushed political activism, promoted antisemitic narratives, and kept parents in the dark about classroom materials.
Parents send their children to school to learn—not to be indoctrinated.

Great to tour TWB Company in Monroe with Secretary @Sonderling47 and see firsthand how the company is helping drive America’s manufacturing renaissance and provide jobs and opportunities to families across multiple generations.
Pro-growth policies like the Working Families Tax Cuts are strengthening domestic manufacturing, supporting good-paying jobs, and creating more opportunities for Michigan families.
Human trafficking continues to devastate communities across Michigan, exploiting children and vulnerable individuals.
I’m proud to see my bipartisan legislation, the Enhancing Detection of Human Trafficking Act, be signed into law. I introduced this critical legislation with @RepLucyMcBath to give Department of Labor employees the tools and training needed to identify trafficking and help bring perpetrators to justice.

My office has been in contact with the EPA and local officials after last night's hazardous material spill in Toledo, Ohio that is affecting communities in Monroe County, and I am continuing to monitor the situation. At this time, the EPA has established a 3-mile shelter-in-place order to protect the health of nearby communities.

This Saturday, October 24th, is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Thanks to Republicans, the border is SECURE and our communities are SAFER.
The left’s radical agenda would reopen our border and put criminals back on our streets. We cannot afford to reverse course.

It’s common sense versus crazy.
Republicans secured our Southern border.
Democrats, now led by the Marxists in their party, want the border reopened to millions of illegals!
Their mass amnesty agenda will cost Americans BILLIONS of dollars and puts our safety at risk.
We cannot afford the radical left’s insane agenda.
I was glad to visit Bedford Township to hear more about their plans to build a veterans memorial and provide an update on my efforts to ensure our nation's veterans have access to the support and services they deserve. Our nation's veterans have sacrificed so much for our country, and I am dedicated to providing them with much-needed economic relief.

Turns out colleges CAN lower tuition.
After Republicans capped federal graduate student loans, universities began cutting prices.
The @WSJ Editorial Board breaks down why the Working Families Tax Cuts are already delivering results for students and taxpayers ⬇️

From stealing research, to pushing propaganda, to censoring free speech, colleges and universities are on the front lines of malign foreign interference.
Last year, the House passed the DETTERENT Act to ensure that academic collaboration strengthens America, not our adversaries.
The Biden Harris administration raised costs on hardworking Michigan families by pursuing the Green New Deal agenda.
@HouseGOP has reversed course, repealing dozens of these Green New Deal regulations to protect consumers and lower costs for families.
Was great to talk to the government students at Tecumseh High School about how our government works and what they can do to get involved in their local community. My office is also still accepting applications for my nomination to our service academies until October 30, 2026. Those interested in applying for my nomination can visit my website for more information.
I am proud to sign @VP Vance's pledge and join the @WHFraudTF in the fight against fraud, waste, and abuse.
Every dollar lost to fraud is a dollar taken away from the American people. We must do more to stop fraud before payments go out the door and hold those who exploit the system accountable.

119th Congress Committee Wins: Less Bureaucracy, Better Education
Committee Republicans advanced 10 bills to right-size the Department of Education and put students, families, and taxpayers ahead of Washington bureaucracy.
The package would cut unnecessary red tape, streamline federal education programs, and move key responsibilities to agencies better equipped to carry them out.
Education should be about student success—not growing government.
