sorry, unpopular opinion time: the Mass Effect petition needs to explicitly state that BIOWARE needs to be saved. imo the petition description focuses on players’ attachment and expectations and ignores the BioWare devs who made ME5. Selling the IP isn’t enough, save BioWare.
I never thought I'd have this position or feel the need to say it, but no one should be going anywhere near David Gaider or Mark Darrah for this while you're acting this way about Dragon Age.

My favorite aspect of Mass Effect 1 that the sequels don't capture is the vast and lonesome splendor of the games' setting. In ME1 you fly to the furthest reaches of space and drive for miles across magnificent empty worlds that might never be traveled upon again. It's beautiful.

I play @BethesdaStudios games for completely different reasons than I play @CDPROJEKTRED games. and I've done sponsored content for both parties :) Companies should NEVER create games that feel exactly like carbon copies of each other. We want each studio to create unique experiences.
I mean, it does track. Thedas generally has rampant issues, and I imagine a letter home about Val Royeaux would have massive blind spots as well. Harding was expecting hell on Thedas and instead was greeted by another seat of an empire.
I mean, I'm pretty sure an elven Rook, Bellara and Davrin wouldn't really enjoy Harding recounting the Inquisition's time at the Winter Palace either because her first thought would not be what it's built on.
I love Lace Harding but she grew up in Southern Thedas-
Most people who played the default no save state played as male Shepard, which has Ashley saved on Virmire... there was a surprising amount of first timers who picked this game up and just did the action bro run by the time this survey came out.

I mean, the solution is simply letting people talk about saving Dragon Age while they support saving Mass Effect.
And ultimately saving Bioware and bring back the people back making ME5 should be the goal for Mass Effect.
