Some of us have put in hundreds or even thousands of hours into GTA V over the span of over eight years. The anticipation is real.

It has been exactly 17 years since our first LAN party event. Since then, history has been made, stories have been written and we have built a generation of esports gamers and professionals. This was just as people were switching from CRT->LCD and beige->black PCs!

Nothing stopping us from still doing this!

FPS multiplayer peaked with mid 2000s Source games, when you could join a server with 30 people playing on a user map that was like a dozen brushes total with the gravity turned down and some 14 year old Russian kid was spamming bass boosted hip hop on his mic.

At 11.59pm tonight restrictions are lifting in Victoria. There will be no density limits. No capacity limits. No restrictions on how many people can visit you at home. No masks in most places. And if you want to celebrate - you can hit the dance floor too.

Over 11 years ago: The AusHalo cash prized Halo 3 tournament run by @ACLPro. Halo Infinite is out, and it's great to see the old community. The atmosphere in that room was *ELECTRIC* and will never, ever be forgotten.

We can have 10 people over to our homes as of Friday? That’s enough for a 5v5 CS:GO match!
