Slavery was an evil in which people from every continent and region participated. We should be honest about the whole history, not select the parts that are politically convenient today, especially given Britain's leading role in ending the transatlantic slave trade.
If Caribbean countries are asking Britain for a formal apology for Britain’s role in the transatlantic slave trade, will they also be asking the same of the descendants of African kingdoms, rulers and merchants who captured, sold and profited from the trade?
On demands for reparations, whether through cash or debt relief, we have been down this track before. Twenty-five years ago, Jubilee 2000, Drop the Debt and Make Poverty History argued that cancelling the debts of poorer countries would give them a fresh start. More than $100 billion of debt was eventually written off, but many of those countries have since built up even bigger debts. Labour are already spending too much on Britain's welfare state, now is not the time for Andy Burnham to be providing global welfare.
There is no reason British taxpayers today should be held financially responsible for things that happened generations before any of us were born. And I have even less patience for political elites in commonwealth countries who don’t know how to make their own citizens prosperous now looking for another opportunity to blame Britain.
As Prime Minister, Andy Burnham should be Britain’s greatest defender. Instead, he is writing articles saying we need to confront our history (as if we haven't done enough of that) and considering another formal historical apology. Tony Blair already expressed Britain’s deep sorrow and regret for our role in the slave trade nearly twenty years ago. There is no need to do so again.
This is all another navel-gazing distraction. The Commonwealth should be looking forward, not endlessly backwards. That means economic partnerships to make us all richer and deeper military and security cooperation against common threats. If every Commonwealth summit becomes an exercise in presenting Britain with demands for cash then we need to start asking if it is worth the effort.

I’ve just been released on bail, and the case they’re trying to bring against me is an absolutely shocking attack by the establishment.
First of all, I’m banned from central London, including Westminster, and I’m also prohibited from attending or reporting on any Gen Z-style protests taking place in the UK. This is absolutely absurd and, in my view, nothing more than an attempt by the establishment to stop me from doing my work.
Secondly, during my interview, they were unable to provide any witnesses. Nobody involved in the Gen Z protests came forward with a statement or any evidence against me, yet they’re still attempting to pursue a case.
My duty solicitor did little to challenge the conditions imposed on me and didn’t seem particularly interested in contesting them.
More footage of what happened today will be coming out soon. The whole situation was absolutely insane.

If you take one lesson from the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, let it be this:
Once we become a minority, there is no voting our way out of this.

A Restore Britain Government will reverse the Islamification of our country.
🚨We are now in a place where a whole town gets locked down by the Government for a boat that has not arrived….
Gosport. Haslar Bridge shut. Coaches at Fort Blockhouse. Masks banned.
A dispersal order on the entire town until 7am Tuesday.
Anyone who wants to stand there is sent to a car park. If not you’re threatened with arrest..
The boat is still in French waters.
The government will not even say this is the landing. Last time, they took the people to Dover.

The left has begun a campaign of AI-generated pictures of me being shot in the neck.
I have been arrested before for hate speech offences for posting jokes about mass deportations.
However, the left can post threatening pictures of me being shot in the neck with no consequences whatsoever.
However, the line should always be, "I don’t care".
These people are sick, and when we win, we will crush these people.

Last night on GB News with @CharlotteCGill we highlighted how YOU the taxpayer are funding these asylum charities to the tune of hundreds of millions of pounds.
Now they will be able to sponsor migrants too. This is utter insanity.

No nation has ever gotten better by importing more muslim like you.
OMG 🚨 UK TV Host GOES OFF on UK Defense Secretary for refusing to connect illegal mass migration with security risks in the UK.
This might one of the best on air TV rants you will ever see. After 5 Muslims tried blowing up RAF Air Force base in London.
The people in Europe are FED UP with immigration and their failed government that protects illegals over its citizens.

Remember when the Home Secretary falsely stated that there was a credible far-right terror plot (that ended up not being a terror plot whatsoever).
So she can comment when she feels it’s appropriate, even when the speculation is misinformation.

Didn't stop you calling Danny Tommo a racist and accusing him of 'the worst kind of hateful behaviour' on national television whilst there's an ongoing case, did it?
