🔊 Operation Herrick 🇦🇫 : 26th October will mark a profound moment of reflection as we look back on the day Camp Bastion was officially handed over by British forces in 2014, signaling the end of the UK's combat operations in Helmand Province. For over a decade, Camp Bastion stood as the beating heart of the British campaign in Afghanistan. Its handover was not just a logistical milestone, but the closing chapter of a monumental era that deeply shaped a generation of our Armed Forces. As we remember the end of this conflict, we hold closest to our hearts the extraordinary sacrifices made throughout Operation Herrick. We honor the 457 British personnel who gave their lives in service, never returning home to their families. Their names are permanently etched into our national consciousness, and their bravery will never be forgotten. We also recognize the thousands who returned with life changing physical and psychological wounds, and the enduring resilience of the families who supported them from home. To everyone who served, who sacrificed, and who stood the watch: Thank you. Your duty, courage, and camaraderie in the face of unimaginable adversity will forever be remembered. Lest we forget🌹 #OperationHerrick #CampBastion #LestWeForget

Restore Britain @RestoreBritain will absolutely stop the boats. We will end illegal immigration. We will remove every illegal immigrant - no exception, no exemption and no appeal - they will receive no benefits, no freedom and will only leave secure detention to get on a plane out of our country. We will secure our borders properly. We won't divert the Royal Navy and Royal Marines from their mission of defending the UK against military threats in an increasingly dangerous world. They are already overstretched and scandalously short of resources and it is not their job. Our response is a serious and sustainable one - watch the video - tough, robust, armed, properly trained and equipped and with the legislative powers for the job. It's all planned, costed and, unlike the ideas of others, our plans are not predicated on things we cannot control but on those we can. Watch the video and read the detail here: restorebritain.org.uk/papers

The Star, Wetherspoons in Gosport refused me entry because I was wearing a poppy in my own country. This is absolutely outrageous. Boycott Wetherspoons in Gosport!

VETERANS wearing a Poppy are BANNED from from Wetherspoons WOW. Manager of Gosport Wetherspoons states it’s ‘Company policy’ to not allow anyone in with a Remembrance Poppy on as it ‘could be political’ I can’t believe what I just heard from our nations biggest pub chain. Veterans wearing a poppy are banned from Wetherspoons.

🔊 No Other Way: The future generation: The little girl represents Britain's children and the world they will inherit. Her question makes the political decision feel personal rather than abstract. The veteran's sacrifice: The father's beret, medals and remembrance poppy symbolise service, sacrifice and a commitment to something greater than himself. A vote for the future: His answer suggests that his political choice is about the country his daughter will grow up in, the opportunities she will have and the future he wants to leave behind. Family above politics: The father isn't presented as voting for personal gain. The emotional message is that he is thinking about someone he loves. National identity: The deep blue branding, map of Britain and Palace of Westminster imagery reinforce the themes of British identity, national pride and political change. #RestoreBritain #RestoreVeterans #NotForUsForThem

🔊 This is disgusting: Thank you, @djdegt, for bringing this to our attention. The views expressed by @ClaireHalliwel4 do not reflect those of Restore Britain or its membership. While she claims to support the party, her opinions are strictly her own. We have received nothing but respect and gratitude from @RestoreBritain, its members, followers, and the wider patriot community. Since founding this account, I have witnessed an incredibly positive shift within the Veterans Community. Restore Britain has ignited a flame in all of us, and it will continue to do so. I’ve just been on to order my usual Poppy pins and as normal couldn’t resist the Winston Churchill frigate magnets and keyrings etc. I bought things I’ll probably never use but I believe it’s a good cause. I didn’t buy the attached but wonder why Royal British Legion feel the need for it or asking my opinions on inclusion etc after my purchase in a survey? poppyshop.org.uk/products/pr…

After attending Falkirk’s first Restore Britain meeting tonight, I have absolute, unshakeable faith that in 2029 we will be in power. What I saw was not a small gathering of the already convinced. It was ordinary people from every walk of life workers, parents, veterans, young and old packed into a room filled with energy, clarity and determination. The atmosphere was electric. There was no despair, only resolve. People spoke openly about the country they love, the future they want for their children, and their refusal to watch Britain quietly slip away. This is the silent majority finally finding its voice. For years we have been told we are fringe, that our concerns are illegitimate, that we should stay quiet. Tonight proved the opposite. The people want this. They want borders that mean something, a government that puts British people first, and a nation that remembers who it is. The room was full of the very citizens the political class has ignored for too long and they are no longer waiting to be asked. What struck me most was the unity and the hope. This is not a movement of anger for its own sake. It is a movement of restoration. People left that meeting taller, prouder and more certain that change is not only possible but inevitable if we keep building like this, branch by branch, community by community. The establishment can dismiss us. The media can smear us. None of it matters. The quiet majority is waking up, organising, and turning up. Falkirk showed me the strength of that will. In 2029 the people will take their country back, and nights like this are how it begins. 🇬🇧

Each of these Veterans has a story, they’ve all been places, seen things & done things - before, during & after military service. They see these experiences as a chapter in their lives that gives them knowledge & the ability to serve on. They seek purpose not pity. #VeteransCan

🌹Remembrance Day Is Fast Approaching: For most, Remembrance Day is a time for a two minute silence, a proud parade, and a symbol of gratitude. But for our Veterans, it can be one of the toughest, most emotionally exhausting periods of the year. While the world pauses to look back at history, Veterans are often forced to look back at their own lives. Behind the medals, the polished boots, and the proud smiles are deeply personal memories: • The ghosts of the past: Seeing the poppies and hearing the bugles can trigger vivid memories of conflict, loss, and the friends who never made it home. • The hidden burden: For many, the quiet reverence of November brings unresolved trauma, survivor's guilt, and an overwhelming sense of grief. • The gap in understanding: It can feel incredibly isolating to stand in a crowd of civilians who respect the sacrifice but can never truly understand the cost. For a Veteran, every day is Remembrance Day. The memories don't get packed away when the banners come down. How you can support a Veteran right now: 1. Listen without prying: If a Veteran in your life wants to talk, give them your full attention. If they want to be left alone in quiet reflection, respect their space. 2. Offer practical connection: Sometimes just grabbing a coffee, checking in with a text, or buying them a drink at the local branch can mean the world. 3. Remember the living: While we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, let's make sure we actively support and lift up the heroes walking among us today. To all our Veterans and service members: I see you, I honor your strength, and I know that remembering isn't always easy. You are never alone. 🫡🇬🇧 #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget #SupportOurVeterans #MentalHealthMatters #VeteransSupport
