This All Souls Day, the Resurrectionists remember in a special way Fr. Chris Buda, CR, Fr. Pat Aiello, CR and Fr. Murray McDermott, CR, who passed to eternal life this year.
We pray, not as those who have no hope, but as people of the Resurrection, that our beloved deceased may be experiencing the joy of new life! May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace. #catholic #resurrectionists #allsouls #newlife
Today we celebrate the lives of many who responded to the Church’s call to be holy. In addition to the official saints, we are all called to a life of holiness. We can see evidence of this holiness in the lives of ordinary people around us.

God calls us to various journeys: lay, religious, or clerical life in the Church. Our vocation to holiness means following the Risen Lord on a journey not away from, but through our human weakness to the glory of the resurrection.

...and even a few of the 10 men who are joining us as postulants this year. Go to resurrectionists.ca for photos from the final days of Fr. Evandro’s visit.

This is one of the most beautiful aspects of Christianity, that our entire faith can be simplified down to “Love God” and “Love your neighbour as yourself.” We humans always complicate things, when all God wants is for us to Love!

In the Gospel, (Mt 22:34-40), Christ commands us to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind. Vocation—whether to the ministerial priesthood or the consecrated religious life—is precisely this kind of total, unreserved surrender to love.

Let us give to "God what belongs to God" - ourselves as faithful stewards of our time, talents and treasure - so that the mission of Christ may be fulfilled in us. Let us show the 'power of one' and transform the world beginning with ourselves.

The coin belongs to Caesar because it bears Caesar’s image, but we belong to God because we bear His image. On World Mission Sunday, we remember that every baptized person is called to make God’s love visible in the world.
A vocation is one way of answering that missionary call by giving one’s whole life to Christ and His Church. Where is God sending you to share His hope with others?

For family and friends, for food and shelter, for safety and peace; we thank God for all the blessings we have received, and we pray for those who are in need. May we always be grateful and willing to share our blessings.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Many come to Mass without their hearts being clothed with the proper spirit. We must find a balance in our spiritual life anytime we enter into the presence of God, to be aware of our unworthiness, and to let ourselves be held in God's love.
