9,097 trades on pons in the last hour, across 316 coins. busiest hour we've seen since we moved here.
not one of those coins has its own chain yet. the first registration makes chain #1.
the registry doesn't take our word for who launched a coin. it asks pons. deployer or creator-fee wallet: chain written. anyone else: revert.
block height is the time since registration divided by 2 seconds. every trade lands in the block whose window it happened in. that's the whole trick, and anyone can recompute it.
launched on pons before reticle existed? doesn't matter. paste the coin address on reticlechain.site/register, sign once from the creator wallet, and the chain is written.
how a launch works on reticle: name, ticker, image. your chain id shows up before you sign anything. then two signatures, one for the coin on pons, one for its chain.
2,309 trades on pons in the last hour, 167 coins. none of them has a chain yet.
the first one registered becomes chain #1. reticlechain.site/register
nobody can claim a chain for a coin they didn't launch. register(token) checks the pons launch record: creator wallet = chain written, anyone else = revert.
that's also why we can't register one for anybody, ours included.
