It’s actually a modern IPS LCD, not a CRT! The Slim PVM PRO features a 9.7” display with a native resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. The classic CRT-inspired appearance is entirely intentional!
The Slim PVM PRO doesn’t modify or process the game’s image. It simply displays the video signal it receives, without adding filters or effects. It’s a modern IPS LCD monitor with a classic PVM-inspired design.
I build every monitor myself, one at a time, so keeping stock isn’t really an option. I open orders in limited batches based on what I can realistically produce. Hopefully the next opening won’t be too far away! You can subscribe to the newsletter at Retroldtech.com for advance notice.
Exactly! They’re original monitors I design and handcraft from scratch, using modern IPS LCD panels and taking inspiration from classic professional video monitors. They’re not restored or modified vintage PVMs. Glad you like them!
