It’s rare that the dub updates the opening viduals to correlate with the arc the anime was currently on. So shoutout to the dub for doing it here with Season 16 (Adventures in Unova) to correlate with the Unova League, Team Plasma, and Decolore Islands
I guess a 7? The art and presentation is obviously much better, but I kinda expected more of what we got from Episode 2 to be present here. The lack of music is still an issue, and the removal of the universal punch despite being in both the manga and anime is certainly a choice
Always love seeing Noelle go crazy! Saint Stage looks amazing in the anime. The fight itself looked really good too. Idk why people were worried about it looking bad

The big question is whether the dub cast will re-record the lines or just reuse the lines from DBS 2015

Monsters can be animals/beasts, plants, inanimate objects, food, or humanoids. Idk why so many try to adhere so such a strict definition of what a monster is
This is MY go-to Pokémon hot take and people really won’t like it, but I’ve recently felt even stronger about it.
I wish Meowscarada and especially Quaquaval weren’t Pokémon. They just feel like they’re from a different franchise.
I know there’s a few other Pokémon like them but these designs don’t even try. They are too human with clothes and Horizons portrayed them like that even more.
I think Quaq is now my least favorite Pokémon ever. If you love them that’s fine, no hate there… but man.

The absolute worst part about Johto is the lack of Johto Pokemon representation.
Bug Gym no Ledyba, Normal Gym no Snubbull or Teddiursa, Ghost no Misdreavus, Steel no Skarmory, Fighting no Heracross, Ice no Sneasel, Psychic E4 no Slowking Girafarig or Espeon.
This is the part of the game that actively worsens the experience and holds Johto back a lot.

Easily the best content to come out of Wonder Voyage. That said, the non starter mons getting manhandled sucks and while Navi interacting with Team Star is fun, her being left out of the big stuff sucks when her addition was to the crew was initially made such a big deal
Ash being a cheeky little shit in Kanto/Johto was funny and perfectly fine, but when he got to Hoenn he went from that to straight up being a dick at times which…idk man. I do honestly like AG Ash, but at times he had a real bad attitude that could make him irritating to watch😭
So allegedly, Magna was originally going to be the mc of Black Clover instead of Asta. Honestly, I’d be interested in seeing what they version of Black Clover would be like and what these other characters alongside him would be like

Maintenant que Black Clover bénéficie d’un tel traitement, c’est tellement IMPORTANT de rappeler l’histoire de cette œuvre.
Elle est littéralement partie de RIEN, avec l’une des pires animations et surtout l’une des pires conditions de production de l’industrie, portée par Yoshihara, qui a littéralement SAUVÉ l’anime.
Elle a également connu des débuts très difficiles et était considérée comme une pâle copie de NARUTO, c’était littéralement le shonen le plus détesté à l’époque.
Et malgré tout, elle a réussi à construire une FANBASE solide et non pas grâce à son animation.
Mais justement parce que l’anime a réussi à toucher certains, grâce à ses personnages, son histoire, son lore, ses thématiques, tout ce que vous voulez…
BLACK CLOVER est littéralement l’incarnation d’ASTA et MAGNA : parti de rien et comptant désormais parmi les plus grands.
