Spent my career building software, businesses, and teams. Now exploring the one thing none of it could touch: the soul.

1/ I've spent my career building technology. Software, businesses, teams. Working with multinationals and startups of every size, in every condition. And for the last while, I've been quietly going down a rabbit hole that changed everything I thought I knew. This account is where I document what I'm finding.

60 days ago I started posting about the gap between what we're building and who we're becoming. Here's what I know now that I didn't know then: The research is deeper than I thought. The interest is wider than I expected. The need is more urgent than anyone's admitting. Something is shifting. In tech. In culture. In the conversation about what humans are actually for. If you've been following along and any of this resonated: I'm building the thing. The training system. The accelerator for humans. It's not a philosophy. It's a protocol. Based on real research. Designed for people who build things. humanenergyaccelerator.com The next chapter starts now.

People keep asking what I'm building. Here's the honest answer: I'm building an accelerator. Not for startups. For the human being that creates startups. A structured training system for consciousness. With protocols. Progression. Measurable development. Based on decades of research and thousands of years of tradition. Think of it like a gym membership. But for the parts of you that no machine will ever replicate. humanenergyaccelerator.com

contrarian take: the meditation industry did more harm than good it took something that ancient traditions treated as serious training and turned it into a feature inside a productivity app "be calm so you can get more done" that was never the point. the point was transformation. not optimization.

The question I keep coming back to: If we build something smarter than us, what are we for? Not your job. Not your role. Not your title. You. The thing looking out through your eyes right now.

I used to think this was a philosophical question. Something for podcasts and late-night conversations. It's not. It's a strategic question. The most important one of this decade. Because the answer determines what we build next. And who we become while building it.

What if burnout isn't what we think it is. What if it's not "you worked too hard." What if it's "you worked on the wrong frequency for too long." Ancient traditions mapped multiple operating states of the human system. We use maybe two of them deliberately. We run everything through the analytical mind and the stress response. Then wonder why we're exhausted by 35.

$600 billion in YC portfolio value. $31 billion raised through Techstars companies. $0 invested in structured human consciousness development. We'll spend $200K on an MBA to train minds for business. $0 to train minds for being human. The asymmetry is so obvious it's invisible.

Last week I sat in silence for 40 minutes. No phone. No music. No guided anything. At minute 22, my mind did something I can't describe. It wasn't calm. It wasn't peace. It was like a gear shifted that I didn't know existed. I've shipped products to millions of users. That 18 minutes after the shift was more interesting than any launch I've ever done. I don't know what to do with that yet. But I'm paying attention.

Every ancient civilization, independently, built structured training programs for consciousness. Egypt. India. Greece. China. Tibet. Peru. They didn't have wifi. They weren't coordinating on Slack. They all arrived at the same conclusion about what humans are capable of. Different languages. Different symbols. Same curriculum. At some point you stop calling it coincidence and start calling it data.

Everyone's worried AI will take their job. Nobody's worried AI already took their attention. Their presence. Their ability to sit with a single thought for more than 11 seconds. That happened years ago. We just blamed ourselves for being lazy.

Monks in Tibet can raise their body temperature by 8 degrees Celsius using only their minds. Measured by researchers from Harvard. Published in Nature. Martial artists can generate force that doesn't match their muscle mass. Documented on motion capture. Meditators can hold attention states that should be neurologically impossible after a few weeks of training. Measured on EEG. None of this is fringe. It's just ignored. Because if you take it seriously, you have to redesign everything you think you know about human capability.
7
I notice this pattern in every founder I talk to: Phase 1: Excited about AI. Phase 2: Productive with AI. Phase 3: Existentially unsettled by AI. Phase 4: ??? Most people are stuck between Phase 3 and Phase 4. They feel it but they can't name it. I think Phase 4 is where it gets interesting. That's where you start asking what you actually are.
2
There's a documentary in theaters right now about AI risk. The people in it helped build the attention economy. They're now saying it's the most dangerous thing humanity has created. I watched it twice. Not because I disagree. Because they're asking the right question and arriving at the wrong answer. The answer isn't to slow AI down. It's to speed humans up.

hot take: "find your purpose" is the wrong instruction purpose isn't something you find. it's something your body already knows. your nervous system has been screaming it at you for years. you just can't hear it over the notifications.

A number that broke my brain: Researchers measured the electromagnetic field your heart generates. It's 60 times more powerful than your brain's. Not a metaphor. Measured. Documented. Replicated over three decades.

Now here's the part that gets weird. When you train that field deliberately, using specific techniques that are thousands of years old, measurable things happen. Brainwave patterns shift. Stress hormones drop. Decision-making improves in ways that show up on scans.

Nobody teaches this. Not in school. Not in business. Not in any accelerator program on earth. We have structured training for everything humans build. Zero structured training for the human doing the building. That's the gap I can't stop thinking about.

Confession from a 20-year tech builder: I don't miss shipping software. I miss the feeling I had before I knew how to ship software. When the world felt like it had more questions than answers. When I was curious instead of optimized. AI took away my craft. And accidentally gave me back my curiosity. Strange trade.
4
The irony of my life right now: I'm using AI to build something that's fundamentally about what AI can't touch. Every landing page, every strategy doc, every piece of content. Built with AI. To reach humans who need to remember they're not machines. I think about this every single day. I haven't decided if it's beautiful or terrifying.

I spent 30 days posting about consciousness, AI, and human potential. Some of you DM'd. Some of you pushed back. A few of you sent me research I hadn't seen. Here's what I wasn't expecting: the people who resonated most weren't the spiritual crowd. They were engineers. Founders. People building the thing that's making them question everything. That tells me something.
