Inspired by the excellent work from @GeirJordet, we tried to observe the scanning and search behaviours at @Lightningfootbl last week with a dual camera angle.
Highly beneficial to explore the quality, timing and frequency of scans in an attacking practice.

We took the opportunity at Step 3, as anyone would. @ilkestontown_fc are a massive club, we never expected a complete rebuild!
We worked incredibly hard to make it work, but unfortunately it didn’t. It’s a results based business and obviously they ain’t been good enough

Clubs are recruiting UEFA A/B‑level coaches, expecting big experience and strong player development backgrounds.
Yet many roles are sessional or voluntary, despite full‑time responsibilities.
We need an open conversation about the UK coaching system.
