@YankeeGunner @clivepafc I'm not sure how you factor this into the punishment, or if you even can, but City Football Group are not the same as Kroenke or Fenway (to name just two). CFG competes for trophies as a means to an end.

Their ultimate goal is to burnish the name of Abu Dhabi and provide cover for human rights violations. That seems to me to make this whole affair even worse, but again, not sure how you can incorporate this other than to say it's a good reason to remove them from the EPL.

If it was about the talent pool, why doesn’t China or India win? If it’s the culture why doesn’t England win? If it’s about the coach, why don’t the Dutch win? There is no simple equation. If there was, the U.S. would dominate.

Sad to hear Anthony Head has passed away. The Gold Blend “will they, won’t they” ad campaign was a cultural phenomenon, an ongoing saga that lasted for 6 years, captivating audiences of 30 million. The inevitable kiss even made front page news. A landmark TV moment. RIP Anthony
