Open your BibleโฆRead itโฆBelieve itโฆThen vote like you believe it!!

DOES YOUR PARTY MATCH YOUR BIBLE?
Forget Republican and Democrat for a minute and open the Bible. Then ask yourself a question most people never want to ask: does what I support politically actually line up with what I claim to believe biblically?
Start with abortion. Abortion kills an unborn child. You can call it healthcare, reproductive freedom, or choice, but changing the words does not change what happens.
Psalm 139:13 says, โFor you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my motherโs womb.โ
Jeremiah 1:5 says, โBefore I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.โ
Proverbs 6:16-17 says the Lord hates โhands that shed innocent blood.โ
That is pretty plain. The Bible recognizes life in the womb as something God knows, forms, and values. Republicans argue that unborn life deserves legal protection. Democrats argue that abortion should remain a protected personal choice.
You do not need me to tell you which one fits those verses better. Read them and answer it yourself.
Now look at sex and gender.
Genesis 1:27 says, โMale and female he created them.โ
That is not complicated. God created male and female. A man does not become a woman because he says he is one, and a woman does not become a man because she feels like one. Feelings do not change biology, and politics does not rewrite creation.
The Democratic Party has embraced gender identity as something government should recognize and protect, feelings over facts. Republicans have taken the position that gender is male and female only.
Again, forget the party labels. Read Genesis 1:27 and ask yourself which philosophy sounds closer to what the Bible actually says.
Marriage is just as clear.
Jesus said in Matthew 19:4-5, โHavenโt you read,โ he replied, โthat at the beginning the Creator โmade them male and female,โ and said, โFor this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one fleshโ?โ
Jesus did not leave much room for confusion there. Male and female. A man and his wife.
You can disagree with me. You can disagree with a political party. But if your political beliefs force you to explain away the plain words of Jesus, then the problem is bigger than politics.
Now look at children and parents.
Deuteronomy 6 puts the responsibility of teaching children on the family. Proverbs 22:6 says, โStart children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.โ Ephesians 6:4 tells fathers to bring their children up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
God gave children to parents. He did not give them first to teachers, counselors, activists, bureaucrats, or government agencies.
That does not mean schools have no role. It means Mama and Daddy come first.
Republicans generally argue that parents should have the final say in their childrenโs education and major decisions involving them. Democrats have increasingly defended policies that give schools and institutions more room to act independently on issues involving gender and identity.
Once again, put the politics aside and ask yourself whether your partyโs position matches the biblical order.
Then there is work and responsibility.
2 Thessalonians 3:10 says, โThe one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.โ
Notice the word unwilling.
The Bible commands us to care for widows, orphans, the poor, the disabled, and people who truly need help. James 1:27 makes that clear. But the Bible also teaches personal responsibility.
1 Timothy 5:8 says, โAnyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.โ
The Bible teaches compassion, but it also teaches work, responsibility, family, and stewardship. Helping somebody who cannot help themselves is Christian. Teaching able-bodied people that government owes them everything
.
2 Corinthians 9:7 says, โGod loves a cheerful giver.โ
There is a reason it says giver. Biblical charity comes from a willing heart. It is not the same thing as politicians taking somebody elseโs money, spending it, and then calling themselves compassionate.
Republicans generally put more emphasis on work, personal responsibility, private charity, family, and limiting dependence on government. Democrats generally support a much larger government role in providing income, housing, healthcare, food, education, and other necessities.
Again, do not take my word for it. Open your Bible and decide which direction better matches what Scripture teaches about work, responsibility, charity, and stewardship.
Then there is the difference between good and evil.
Isaiah 5:20 says, โWoe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness.โ
That verse ought to make every Christian uncomfortable, because our culture has gotten very good at changing the names of things.
Abortion becomes healthcare. Sexual immorality becomes pride. Men entering womenโs spaces becomes inclusion. Keeping sexual ideology away from little children becomes hate. Biblical marriage becomes bigotry. Standing on Scripture becomes extremism.
Changing the label does not change the truth.
I am not telling you that every Republican is a Christian. They are not. I am not telling you the Republican Party is perfect. It is not.
Jesus Christ saves people. Political parties do not.
But Christians still vote, and that vote is a choice between competing values, policies, and directions for this country. When you walk into that voting booth, you do not get to separate your faith from everything else you believe. If the Bible is really the Word of God, then it should be the measuring stick, not something we pull out on Sunday morning and put back on the shelf before Election Day.
So forget Republican and Democrat for a minute.
Which party is fighting harder to protect unborn children?
Which party is defending the reality of male and female?
Which party is more closely defending biblical marriage?
Which party is standing up for parents raising their own children?
Which party talks more about work, responsibility, family, and less dependence on government?
Which party is more willing to defend Christianity publicly instead of treating biblical beliefs like something people should be ashamed of?
Then ask the question that matters:
DOES YOUR PARTY MATCH YOUR BIBLE?
Because if you keep having to twist the Bible to make it agree with your politics, maybe it is not the Bible that needs changing.
Maybe your politics do.
I know where I stand.
I will never tell you the Republican Party is perfect. I will tell you this: when I compare the two parties on morality, life, family, marriage, sex, parental authority, religious liberty, personal responsibility, and the basic biblical order of society, the choice is not difficult for me.
And if you call yourself a Bible-believing Christian, it should at least make you stop and think before you vote.
Do not vote because your parents voted that way. Do not vote because your friends do. Do not vote because some politician made you angry, scared, or promised you something.
Open your Bible.
Read it.
Believe it.
Then vote like you believe it.
