Borr Drilling jack-up has sunk off Gabon.
The Prospector 5 went down late on Saturday at the Dussafu licence, off Mayumba.
It was being prepared to drill for BW Energy.
115 people were on board, and 110 are accounted for.
Borr says the rig suffered a โpunch-throughโ during preload. One of its legs broke through the seabed, and the rig lost stability.
The rig hadnโt started drilling.
BW Energy shut production at the nearby MaBoMo facility as a precaution, and no spill has been reported.
Gabon has set up a crisis unit and ordered an investigation.
The search comes first. Questions about the rig and the market can wait.

The key documented date is May 21, 2012.
On that date, Epstein sent an email to Daniel Siad stating that he had left Paris and providing a Romanian telephone number beginning with 0743.
Romanian outlets including Antena 3 CNN, Adevฤrul, and Observator reported that this correspondence suggested Epstein had traveled to Romania in 2012. Romanian media also reported correspondence involving intermediaries, Romanian women, photographs, and financial transfers.
