some creators get a little bit of traction / start getting decent engagement and completely switch up.
i love creators and everything they do for the space.
and I get it, good engagement is awesome to see.
but it's just sad to see so many switch up over a bit of traction.

I think most of you don't understand what it's like to have money. Especially to have a lot of money fast.
You think you will "retire" and your life will be good.
But what is retirement? Laying around on a beach doing nothing? Unless you have an 80 iq (maybe a lot of you), you will quickly grow tired of this and look for either a) something to stay busy with or b) problems to focus on.
This is why there is so much "woke" in America... bc the liberals in America live in the richest country in history and have nothing to do but create new imaginary problems to complain about.
Anyway, back to the main point... so you want to retire.. at age 24.. ok so you argue retirement just means being able to work on the things you really enjoy.
OK, but if you are working on the things you really enjoy, if it is something useful, then you are probably making money doing it, right? If you are a productive person you are probably generating income even if you have unimaginable wealth sitting in the bank. Point is you probably aren't even going to touch most of that wealth, unless you are just going to blow it all on pointless material things, which is probably many of you anyway.
And then what happens with your social circle with your generational wealth? Regular ppl can't relate to you, the only ones left are hangers-on who are benefitting materially from associating with you. And then you will enter new circles of ppl with wealth, & what you will find is those ppl tend to be much more soulless and vapid than you imagine. Finding some kind of deep and meaningful relationships will prove almost impossible, bc you are always suspecting the motives of others.
Here's the TLDR: Most of you don't even know wtf you want or why you want it. You don't even understand what that kind of life would look like, and many of you, if you get it, would later realize "Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it."
My opinion? Getting a lot of money super fast tends to rarely end well. Determine your goals and how much money you need to get there, and focus primarily on self improvement, finding deep & meaningful relationships, a sense of purpose & providing value to others, and develop a mindset of money as a) a tool, b) a game, and c) a byproduct of an ongoing process of building things in this world.

if you think you missed the train, remember trains run every day. the key is to be ready when it comes. most people aren't ready.

if you believe in something, hold it. if you don't believe in it, don't hold it. simple.
