I’ve never been a fan of grading (esp with PSA). I imagine they’ll lose a good few customers over this disaster, given the recent reports of their “compensation” offers.
PSA heist reporting from @BenMBurrows @TheAthletic:
- FedEx truck was parked outside PSA HQ in Santa Ana, CA when broken into
- Driver left truck alone for 60-90 min (ugh)
- Truck was not locked; lock didn’t work (ughhhhh)
- 3 shipping pallets containing 250 packages of graded items taken from truck
- $936,000 in value accounted for so far, more still being identified and counted
Sounds like this was a big L on FedEx for leaving the truck alone unlocked.
Not sure what PSA was supposed to do here, other than now contact customers and pay them out for the cards.
Sad day for the hobby and especially the collectors affected.
It's wild how many people are only now learning how little NLL players earn. Many have other (sometimes unrelated) occupations throughout the year in order to make enough to support them and their families. They deserve SO MUCH respect!

Hearing from sources that the NLL has a few rule changes coming for the 2026-27 season — including a significant change to the crease rule.
Officials will no longer automatically mark a player for simply entering the crease. A player can enter, exit and then receive the ball without an automatic violation. Instead, officials will determine whether entering the crease created an advantage on the play.
Remember Tre Leclaire’s overtime winner during the 2026 NLL Playoffs, where he touched the crease before eventually receiving the ball and scoring?
Under the new interpretation, I’m told that play would not be considered an advantage and the goal would still stand.
