Just FYI, Since my HS Baseball season ended quite unexpectedly early, this account - still very interested in College and MLB Baseball - may venture into other interests. Nothing to see here, move along.

Ahem, the Players are supposed to be the ones to adjust. Not The Game.
MLB's Arizona Fall League is experimenting with rules that regulate the positioning of outfielders in an effort to increase the number of balls in the gap. Outfielders under these rules are playing closer to the lines than normal, creating much bigger swaths of grass in the alleyways in left-center and right-center field. FanGraphs was first to report the news. BA's Josh Norris and J.J. Cooper have more: buff.ly/Y0w0SHz

I had this as part of a Comedy Routine as long ago as the early 90's. Cheerleaders for T.I.T.S. in their game versus the Mirrored Balls of Disco Tech.
Am thinking of starting new university: Texas Institute of Technology & Science

Not sure I am watching the same game as Troy Aikman. Shough does not look all that good tonight. 10 consecutive incompletions at one point. Yes, he is heavily harassed but not connecting on so many throws.

Certainly I would have given them back their bag. They might need the bag.
A Texas man walked up to a Bank of America ATM and found a bag containing $128,514 in cash sitting right on top of the machine, along with another bag containing 19 checks. Instead of taking it, he noticed information on the bag that made him think it might belong to a nearby Chick-fil-A. So this dude actually drove over there trying to return $128,000. 😂 The restaurant told him it wasn’t theirs, so he called the police. Turns out a Brinks technician had accidentally left the money behind after servicing the ATM. Police counted it and every single dollar was still there. I gotta give this guy credit. Finding $20 on the ground is one thing. Finding a bag with $128,000 in cash and immediately trying to track down the owner is a whole different test of character. Be honest: Would you have returned the $128,000? 😂

OK, this will come about in the near future in M L B. A 2 way left-hander will open a game, go play LF for an inning or two, then come back to the mound to face the tough lefties in a line up - similar to what Kerr is doing tonight against Shwarbomber and Bryce tonight.

Can we try swinging more level and putting more balls in play?
This is what happens to the great game of baseball when you put pocket protector nerds who never wore a jock in charge of how the teams play the game! Just punch in number, analytics and data into a computer, and nevermind the human element…

It is the 1th of the Month! It rhymes when you say it, not sure how to spell it. 1th. Oneth. Wonth.

I need to rearrange my closet. Gotta move all the Rangers gear out of main rotation, and find some Stars and Mavs shirts to get ready for wear.

Thanks to those Swingin' A's, the Texas Rangers still have a swinging chance.

Justifiably and properly incomplete

Been here a few times. Great stadium! Walk in above the field. You can see Texas, New Mexico and Mexico form the press box. Back window because NM is behind you. You can drive right past it and not know it. Great Mexican Food all around the stadium and campus. A must visit!

First time this has ever been called this way. Every time the QB's intention is to throw it forward.
I was Week 1 2026 years old when I learned a quarterback’s intention to throw the ball forward can turn this into an incompletion. I … don’t get it.

She should wait and see what a car sized Toad is like.

Pitchers can also make adjustments. This is not as cut and dried simple as you think it is.
Seeing a different 100-mph arm every AB and playing against a global talent pool is definitely more difficult on a per-AB basis than seeing the same guys over and over and over for an entire season. But you know what else is hard? The train ride from New York to St. Louis, poorly-manicured fields, playing center when the fence is 461 feet from home plate and there are obstacles in play, and the lack of modern medicine, training, equipment, nutrition, rehabilitation, load management, and so on. It's a different game with different challenges. Hitting a baseball has never been harder, but existing in real life from one day to the next has never been easier. My hot take is this: I think the players of a century ago would have a much easier time adapting to the baseball-specific challenges of the modern game than today's players would have adapting to the general lifestyle challenges of the mid-20th century.

So, what if he gets a Tesla that self drives?
Tiger Woods had his driver's license suspended five years Wednesday after striking a plea deal in his DUI case. Woods pleaded guilty to reckless driving and refusal to submit to a lawful test in Martin County circuit court in Florida. spr.ly/6013B1CyQf
