A lot of big names / in-form players unlucky to miss out but how many of them would've played regularly? It seems Tuchel has picked the best 16-18 players with 8-10 versatile options or good characters to have around the camp

First time I got to sample the atmosphere of the London Marathon today. Great experience. Very inspiring seeing the runners come round the corner by Buckingham Palace as they headed towards the finish line. I've always wanted to run it myself. Maybe one day!

✍️ It's been a little while since I've written anything so wanted to prove to myself more than anyone else I can still do it! Some thoughts on Alexander Isak's tough start to life at Liverpool and why he - more than most - needs time: sportstwit.co.uk/alexander-i… #lfc #nufc

Got my Saturdays back and there's only one place to be today: Steve Cotterill's Robins return. If anyone can keep Cheltenham up, it's him #ctfc

After five fantastic years at the Daily Express, Sunday Mirror and Sunday People, my role has now been made redundant. It’s been a pleasure to work for these distinguished newspapers and with such wonderful and talented people. I’ve learnt so much during my time there.

I’m proud of what I’ve achieved and how far I’ve come during that time, from covering mostly non-League football when I started to subbing the back splash and doing live spreads on the biggest national stories over the past five years.

I still feel I’ve got plenty to offer in journalism but I’m also open to new opportunities

Football needs to take concussion more seriously. Fabian Schar suffered his second concussion of the season last night. Played on before going down again. Last time it happened he played again five days later. Media could also do more to hold authorities to account on this issue

Watched Cheltenham beat Accrington last night. Very poor for an hour or so, didn't look after ball, looked low on confidence but much better when Norkett came on and they went 2 up front. Kinsella was a cut above the rest, not just in terms of quality but also nous #ctfc

Sad but not surprised. History will judge Southgate kindly. A shame he couldn't take that final step but he came much closer than any other manager in my lifetime.

After 102 games and almost eight years in charge, Gareth Southgate has announced he is to leave his role as manager of the #ThreeLions.

After being outplayed by USA at the last WC, Southgate dispensed with the No.10 role, went 4-3-3 and freshened up the wings. Maybe time to do the same again in order to have more of the ball and find a spark up front. Trippier needs a rest so I'd go for Gomez at LB.
