Volunteers are needed to complete the final phase of the re-chalking of the Alton Barnes white horse on Saturday.

We're nearly there with 46 tonnes of pristine white chalk now on the Alton Barnes White Horse courtesy of the RAF - the last leg is to complete the re-chalking (39 tonnes left to spread) which will take place this Saturday (10th). Come and join us!

The RAF have carried out an inspection today, and we've the green light for Friday😀. The first lift is scheduled for 10:00, and if you have a rake and would like to take part in the re-chalking process let me know!
