Yesterday my party colleague @RobinSwann_MP raised our lack of budget on the floor of the Commons. We need politicians willing to make the decisions that aren't popular but sorely needed.
Our party @uuponline are willing to do that, to work for what is best for Northern Ireland.
When, with support of voters, I am elected to Council I will put my years of management and finance decision making to use for the benefit of the Ards Peninsula. I will lobby colleagues at Stormont to ensure whatever is best for Northern Ireland is the course we are on.

🧠 Yesterday I met with our Mental Health Champion, Siobhan O’Neill, to discuss mental health and wellbeing across Northern Ireland.
💬 We covered a range of issues, from prevention and early intervention to crisis management. There is lots of positive work happening, but there is still so much more we can and must do.
💙 I will continue to make the case for increased resources and remain committed to transforming mental health services and wellbeing support across Northern Ireland, for people of all ages and every generation.
Prevention matters. Early intervention matters. And ensuring people get the right support at the right time matters.
Together, we can make a real difference. #HopeNotFear #MentalHealth #HealthTransformation #MakeNIWork

Brilliant to be part of Centra Run Together this morning, alongside Pete Snodden from Cool FM, supporting the fantastic work of Action Cancer.
Huge credit to everyone who organised, trained, fundraised and turned out to make today happen. A decade of Centra Run Together is something to celebrate, but the real winners are the people and families who benefit from the incredible work of Action Cancer.
A great atmosphere, a great cause and a reminder of what we can achieve when we come together.
Well done, everyone! 👏💛
