We keep hearing about hocks being broken, at race tracks. Always the RIGHT hock. Greyhounds always race anticlockwise. It’s obvious that dogs running at speeds of up to 45mph and having to negotiate bends will be highly dangerous, especially for older dogs. #animalabuse
What sort of people can honestly call this fun entertainment? Soaked track! Poor dogs hardly stand a chance at that first bend! Savana Max, trap 2, bowled over and over at the first bend but still manages to finish.. Shameful Harlow!

Joker in the pack!
Oh the irony and brass neck of @GreyhoundBoard demanding transparency from @RSPCA_official 🤣🤣🤣

#politas So many discarded greyhounds languishing for months waiting for homes. We don’t ever see #GreyhoundRacing ‘industry’ defenders stepping up to adopt. They’re happy to enable the problem and leave solutions to others. Sad.
After a visit to check out the Greyhound Adoption Program, I have a new love interest. 🥰
His name is Bill. Bill is a gentle, engaging three year old boy, loves pats.
He’s one of 27 dogs at GAP waiting, wanting for a home.

Trainers take greyhounds to race. Nothing to dispute here. So, how did greyhound Up North - Trainer Paul Rea, not be entered for her race, at Harlow Stadium, on 23rd September? How many hours did this poor girl spend in those disgusting cages? @NewsHarlow @ChrisVinceMP
Honoured to be part of the ‘rabble’
Ten years ago today he came home and I became a fully paid up member of the extremist mob as GBGB refer to us. Just this week, the Racing Post called us rabble. 😁 Best club I’ve ever joined in my life! #Harris 🌈🖤 #BanGreyhoundRacing
So many greyhounds do have this incredibly sad life…
The industry’s official governing & regulatory body, the GBGB, has rebuffed all warnings, ignored popular calls for change & #failed to introduce even the most basic protections to #stop the killing & cruelty of racing

What’s going on for another of Thom’s dogs, Yarmouth 18/10/26? Do It Clive, trap 6 - DNF. Apparently he stopped on run in?🤷♀️
Why does V Thom keep running Icaal George? Poor dog has completed 152 runs and was in last place throughout the race, today 18/10/26. He is over 5 years old! Is Thom entering him just for the run money?

Shame on @abcnews among others for not even mentioning that a dog broke its leg on track during their ‘celebrations’ How @ChrisMinnsMP can justify spending taxpayer dollars propping up this shite is beyond comprehension.
Of course they had to break a greyhound's leg on the last night at Wentworth Park. Among the known injuries last night was a fractured right hock for Rosa Marie (in footage below). While they were all boozing and celebrating, Rosa Marie was at a vet clinic in pain.
90 days of incapacitation ahead. Unlikely they will kill her - wouldn't look good to have a dead dog on the record for closing night.
Can't see any mention of her serious injuries or any other injuries from last night in media reports. The public just gets fed filtered rubbish

Is it right to risk dogs’ lives for human entertainment? To keep putting them, knowingly, in danger every time they race?

Serious allegations that 3 greyhounds have been found dead in a van on arrival in the UK after being transported from Ireland. One of the dogs has been named as Mallogs Zach. You need to get on top of this scandal @DefraGovUK @APHAgovuk. #Corruption #BanGreyhoundRacing
An absolute disgrace!
The lrish greyhound racing industry is an economic basketcase, dependent entirely on taxpayers' money. Political cronyism ensures that the status quo remains unchallenged. It is a perfect example of stroke politics. #ThisRunsDeep

Desperate and pathetic!
@TheValleyTrack constantly try to big up their limited contribution to local economy, but their accounts for 2025 show average number employees of Valley Greyhound Ltd was just 3! Even to us this seems improbably low. How do they manage to pay the rest of their staff? @HMRCgovuk @WGRural #cutthechase #bangreyhoundracing #petsnotbets #GBGBStories
Frank Macklin fined £350 for a breach of Rule 49(iv). With regard to the improved performance of greyhound Saleen Ace. No explanation by the GBGB Inquiry as to what Macklin is guilty of 🤷♀️ Transparency? What transparency? @DefraGovUK
@BritishVets
Immoral! Disgraceful waste of money, especially when it is obvious that no amount of ‘welfare improvements’ can stop the horrific injuries and deaths caused by racing!
Oh dear! Poor man… NOT!
@Cai_ParryJones has his knickers in a twist because someone complained about him calling a hard pressed rescue charity which has helped thousands of animals "fat cat lobbyists". He wants to play the culture warrior and drag Welsh politics into the gutter. Trouble is it stinks worse than the Valley's kennels down there. I wonder if he shared a pint with the track's resident dog doping race fixer and benefit cheat on his big night out at the dogs?
Many pro racers have said that anti racing folk should not be allowed to adopt greyhounds.. @GreyhoundBoard @greyhoundtrust What do you think?
Russian Roulette for greyhounds! Yarmouth 26/9/26 Pavilion Puckout, trainer Knights. His first race! Bowled over and over. Trap 3. How on earth he finishes the race, although not shown, seems incredible. #AnimalJustice #AnimalLiberation
Why are old dogs still being run at Harlow, when it is clear they have had enough? Swift Uno is 6 years old and has completed 238 runs! Why does the industry that claims welfare is at the heart of what they do, allow it? @GreyhoundBoard @UKAS @DefraGovUK @lisanandy @domdyer70
