I'm headed back to Europe in a few days! If you're interested in international #travel, I just dropped a monster thread covering how to plan one on a budget. spoutible.com/thread/1948749…

Hey @AlaskaAir, can you please try and chase down my suitcase? CS keeps telling me it made it to Seattle, but that it's still not accounted for. It's been 2 days with no updates.

Hi, all. I write jokes for TV, but not long ago I was a financial analyst. I had my Series 7. For those who say Fran Drescher or any SAG-AFTRA member should stop whining and appreciate what they have, let me give you a lesson in capitalism. 🧵

I’m very curious to know how twitter’s overall health as a company is doing under Elon. I used to be a daily user, now I find myself rarely using it. My feed is a cesspool of random violence and alt-right garbage now.

Affirmative action was never a complete answer in the drive towards a more just society. But for generations of students who had been systematically excluded from most of America’s key institutions—it gave us the chance to show we more than deserved a seat at the table. In the wake of the Supreme Court’s recent decision, it’s time to redouble our efforts.
I wanted to share some of my thoughts on today's Supreme Court decision on affirmative action:

I just finished watching this and then threw myself into traffic.
This isn’t mentioned in my book - there was just too much other weirdness to fit in - but in 1990 Steven Seagal participated in a video called The Celebrity Guide To Wine. In it, he and then-wife Kelly LeBrock open a bottle of wine in the most excruciatingly awkward way possible. Enjoy. (Thanks to @Lawrence_Norton for the original link)

Twitter algorithms constantly pumping alt-right content now. Seems like we’re in the last days for the platform at this point.

Anyone else find Twitter less helpful and engaging since the takeover? My "for you" feed is 99% irrelevant reposts, ads and Twitter Blue bros.

Want to know how you can tell that calling someone “white supremacist” isn’t like calling someone the n-word? Because you can say white supremacist. No one calls it “the ws-word.”
“Calling me a white supremacist, which I take great offense to, that is like calling a person of color the N-word” - Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene

🧵Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law today to defund DEI programs at Florida public colleges and to limit how race can be discussed in many courses. This is an example of what my father, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., described as the “white backlash.” #WhiteBacklash #MLK

The fact that he believes (rightly) that this will endear him the the republican base says a lot about where the party is. This is gross and shameful.
Breaking news: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a bill into law Monday that would bar the state’s colleges and universities from spending money on diversity, equity and inclusion programs, and limit how race can be discussed in many courses. wapo.st/3o2YwtT
