Seres, the Chinese automaker behind Huawei's AITO cars, unveiled its first humanoid robot, Xiaosai. Two factory variants are planned, one inspecting chassis assembly, one checking finished-vehicle exteriors. The pitch is clear: the carmakers want to build the workers too.

BREAKING: ELITE Robots just launched the Centaur-G1, a wheeled humanoid targeting sub-millimeter precision manufacturing for optical module assembly and AI infrastructure. 7 DOF dual arms. ±0.1mm repeatability. Powered by a self-developed VLA model called Yuanqi Primo. Most wheeled humanoids target logistics. This one is going after the hardest precision tasks in electronics manufacturing.

Boston Dynamics' Atlas bear-hugged a mini-fridge off the floor and carried it across a room. Trained for 50-70lb loads. Successfully moved a fridge over 100lbs with uneven weight distribution. If it adapts to a fridge it's never seen, what else can it pick up?

Korean robotics firm WIRobotics just raised $68M Series B to build ALLEX, its humanoid platform. The edge: 3,000+ WIM wearable walking-assistance units already in the field, generating the real-world human motion data most humanoid companies have to simulate. Q1 2026 revenue already exceeded all of 2024. POC underway with a global automotive manufacturer. Mass production readiness targeted for 2027.

Figure 04 just hit full design lock. Parts are already shipping. Brett Adcock calls it the company's biggest generational leap, the iPhone 1 moment for humanoids. F.04 was redesigned from scratch based on lessons from running F.03 24/7, with a focus on mass manufacturability and seventh-generation dexterous hands. F.03 production is currently estimated at 150 units per month. F.04 is already being built behind it.
