ZEC's Sprout freeze should raise some serious questions.
If Zcash can't migrate all its legacy funds before deprecating a transaction format, how smoothly will it handle a full PQC migration?
Meanwhile...QRL was built for the quantum threat from day one.

OGAudit Web3 Research: @QRLedger base:0x37696cd8f723ce541ac376f79fc109080e505ba3 - Post-Quantum Layer 1 & Cryptographic Security Infrastructure.
Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) operates as an enterprise grade, post-quantum secure Layer 1 blockchain specifically engineered to protect digital assets and smart contract logic from future decryption attacks enabled by Quantum Computing (Shor's and Grover's algorithms):
- Rejecting vulnerable Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECDSA), QRL natively implements the eXtended Merkle Signature Scheme (XMSS—RFC 8391), an audited, forward secure, hash based signature mechanism that guarantees post quantum immunity without requiring trusted setups.
- Expanding from its legacy Cryptonight PoW chain toward a PoS architecture, QRL 2.0 (currently live on public testnets) integrates the Quantum Resistant Virtual Machine (ZVM/QRVM) and Hyperion smart contract execution layer, supporting both XMSS and lattice based ML-DSA (Dilithium) signature schemes for unlimited, EVM compatible dApp execution.
- Beyond base layer asset transfers, QRL's protocol suite powers secure offchain messaging, ephemeral keys and post quantum digital identity verification pipelines natively built into its native node client ecosystem. With the QRL token functioning as the native transaction fee currency on the mainnet, the block reward distributed to PoW miners (transitioning to PoS validator staking rewards in QRL 2.0) and the underlying asset securing network consensus.
Is this an indispensable security primitive insulating decentralized finance from quantum decryption timelines or do address state management trade offs and developer adoption barriers cap short term token velocity?

Solidity developers: the blockchains you've spent years building on are vulnerable to the quantum threat.
The good news is that your next project doesn't have to be.

@sriramk @kayvz @michaelmontano @Support Could you please fix the $QRL ticker on X? It’s showing a fake smart contract. QRL is a promising L1 blockchain with 96M market cap since 2018 coingecko.com/en/coins/quant…
Great to see someone doing real research into what "quantum-ready" actually means.
And of course, properly mentioning $QRL :)
Quantum-Ready Blockchains Compared, Part 1: What "Quantum-Ready" Actually Means
1/ “Quantum-ready” is in every crypto roadmap now. It doesn’t mean one thing.
New 5-part series comparing 9 chains: QRL, Algorand, Nervos, Aptos, Sui, Ethereum, XRP Ledger, Solana, Cardano.
Part 1 👇
2/ What a quantum computer could actually hit:
• User signatures → coins stolen
• Validator signatures → fake blocks
• Randomness → rigged block lottery
• Mining → only a speed-up
3/ The part most coverage misses: proof-of-stake chains need 2 migrations (holders’ keys and consensus). Proof-of-work chains need 1.
4/ 2026 so far:
• Google estimate: under 500,000 qubits could break today’s coin signatures
• Algorand and NEAR switched on opt-in quantum-safe accounts
• Most others are still at proposals and test networks
5/ Every chain gets the same 5 tests and a 7-rung ladder, from “announced” to “the default.” Only one small chain is on the top rung.

Algorand has the audacity to flex with botted transactions, lol 😂
I analyzed all of them. The truth:
- 99.2% come from wallets that look scripted
- 10 wallets sent 865K txns in 48h, then vanished
$QRL has every wallet and txn quantum-resistant since 2018. $ALGO has... bots.
Algorand is now officially #1 in post-quantum across the entire industry 🥇
Over 2.7 MILLION post-quantum transactions on mainnet, more than any other blockchain on the planet.
Others are still talking about the quantum threat. We've been shipping since 2022, and nobody has caught us.
And the bots weren't even a secret...
xitter.cf/Robyer/status/21117763…
Turns out the bots weren't even a secret.
A "PQ Tx Printer" was built openly to make $ALGO look #1 in PQ txns, ahead of $QRL.
If @Algorand knew, that's misleading marketing. If not, they owe a public correction. Crypto media presented it as adoption. It was manipulation.
I am a competitive bastard, so I built a PQ Printer to get Algorand to #1.
What it does is tracks chains that currently have PQ tx, allows you to deposit Algo so tx go brrr, then if you want you can receive coupons that rank you on a leaderboard.

10 years ago today, on 16 October 2016, QRL began with a single GitHub commit.
At the time, few in the industry took the quantum threat seriously. Fast forward to today and it's an industry-wide priority.
What started as an early vision has grown into a global community building for what's next.
The next decade starts now. Be part of it.
