The best parents 💔
On Tuesday afternoon, my parents were involved in a head-on collision with a driver who appears to have swerved into their lane. Tragically, both of them died, my mum on the scene, and my dad a short while later at the hospital.

No one should have the right, power to go around the streets attacking and killing immigrants. It’s wrong , inhumane and unacceptable. We shouldn’t allow such in South Africa.

The sting of paying @CityofJoburgZA monthly - and then having to pay private companies to supply the basic services that the City doesn’t? Four days without water - and counting. Definitely not a fun time with a toddler and a newborn.

We condemn the horrific killing of a migrant in the Durban CBD this morning. @SAPoliceService all those found to be responsible and part of the group that attacked the man, must be arrested and prosecuted. No one has the right to take another person’s life, regardless of the reason. This attack is not an isolated incident. It represents the latest wave in a rising tide of violence against migrants in South Africa. The justice system must start acting as a deterrent to these attacks and killings. @GovernmentZA has a legal obligation to protect everyone within its borders, regardless of nationality or immigration status. This includes taking strong measures to combat xenophobia, hatred and discrimination, preventing violence, responding swiftly when attacks occur, and ensuring justice for victims. Stronger political will is needed to put an end to discrimination against migrants, refugees and asylum seekers. Xenophobia must be rejected. The right to life must be protected. Everyone has human rights, regardless of nationality, language, documentation or where they call home. #NoToXenophobia #RejectXenophobia #NoToHate #HumanRights #HumanityMustWin

In reality, progressive feminist‘s only objection to what is happening here is that NFL cheerleaders are not paid a living wage and are often sexually harassed at the workplace. We literally like and support these women more than y’all do, we see them as workers with rights.
This is Everything the progressive feminists hate

Nigeria and Uganda disagree on key details of the new Ebola case in Nigeria's capital city. Transparency and accurate facts are essential in the fight against Ebola.
Nigeria says its first Ebola patient in the current outbreak holidayed in Uganda for two and a half weeks before returning via Ethiopia. But Uganda says she only passed through after visiting DR Congo. Where she contracted the virus remains unclear. bbc.in/4yvjnnP

I’d like to recommend this piece by Sartre. I guess we all think we write because we want to know that we mean something in this world. That we spotted something that had eluded us and gave it expression. Sartre removes that from us. We uncover things about our world we didn’t++
