A suitcase appeared in our classroom today. A range of items were inside that we explored and discovered that they linked to settings from year 4 books we have read. We completed adventure passports before writing our own adventure stories. @RodbourneCheney

Year 1 went to Dragon School! We loved transforming into dragons and completing the 5 days of dragon school just like Zog does in our new story! We even breathed fire and rescued a princess! @RodbourneCheney

We are celebrating the magic of rhyme and its powerful role in early childhood. Rhymes help children build language, rhythm, memory and confidence, laying strong foundations for reading and communication
