Crazy week! First week of rehearsals for Peter Pan- where we cut down 12 pages. (My beautiful words 😭😂) , plus tech, preview and Press of Boyhood at the Pleasance!
Chelsea theatre session and a gala performance also included!
Oh and an electric shock!
Understandably I feel EXHAUSTED today . EEK
Yo. RIP to man like @AdamLenson . Damn Homie. You were always safe to me , bugged me up and encouraged me . Thanks for your enthusiasm for musical theatre and for all the other people you have inspired . Take where ever you are brother ❤️❤️❤️
Extremely pissed that this was allowed to not only go on there completely wrong- but just left. not fair, but as a WC POC male - it’s absolutely to be expected.

Was back at it with Celeste Denyer at @FourthMonkeyTC yesterday working with the Year 1 acting students. Showing them the @BeatsElements Elements way.
Beats, bars, vocals and telling stories in authentic way; destined for the stage

Anyone else wish that cinemas would tell you the time the film actually starts - rather than the bloody adverts?
Not changed after emails. Fucks sake! Just pretend I’m middle class and change it
I’m a bit miffed at the crediting for my new show not only being not right, but not corrected on Broadway World. @BroadwayWorld
Peter Pan at the Polka theatre is being directed by the amazing Ria Parry AND me.
It is a hip hop theatre remixed adaptation of Peter Pan. It is going to be incredible!
After messaging them , and Polka contacting them, they still haven’t corrected . I understand mistakes happen.
It might sound like a small deal- but I’m a working class freelancer used to being sidelined, miscredited and gas lit. Not fair.
I don’t like seeing the wrong credit up there online for millions to see.
Please change if you can!

After 20 years of independent cultural journalism and with a very heavy heart, September’s edition of The Skinny is our final issue 💔

Perdón pero no. El cansancio que sentís sin tener hijos no se compara en nada con el cansancio cuando si los tenés.
Todos los que tienen hijos en algún momento previo no los tuvieron y entienden perfecto la diferencia.
