I don’t know if it’s a coaching decision to not allow Delgado to roam or he just doesn’t have the legs. Need an 8 who can keep up with Son’s movement. Someone he can release the ball to when he’s under pressure and can do a first time pass to Son.
Son is the only one who can dribble down the middle and find space. Deserves getting praised. Besides maybe Walta, the only player who is creative.
You can’t just simply get it to Son. You have to run with him. I like him as a 10 but he has zero support from an 8. He just has two choices, run it himself or go wide. Needs help breaking down teams through the middle.
