According to World Bank's latest report, India's extreme poverty has fallen from 27.6% to just under 2.6%.
And for Indians living under Rs. 400 a day (lower middle income), it has come down from 57.7% of the population to 16.1%.
Remarkable achievement by India given the rupee depreciated and the inflationary pressure of a fast growing economy.
This comes from a supporter of BJP who wants them to perform better by pointing at all mistakes but BJP accuses him of being a Lobby, SP, Congressi and sometimes Anti-National.

All of @BJP4India must watch this podcast and integrate the suggestions from the bottom to the top.
It would be great to see BJP changing its communication strategy and stopping the pursuit of validation and acceptance from Leftists and propagandist channels like France 24, NYT, and Bloomberg.
BJP is losing its ground when supporters counter the narratives of Leftists while the leaders sip coffee with the same channels the next day.
Recently, The Indian Express published a highly controversial story about SIR that was completely false, and the entire Red and Green Cabal preyed on it. However, within a week, the PM was quoting an article from the same Indian Express while his supporters were bashing the publication left, right, and centre.
BJP needs a proper communication channel, and ground-level feedback needs to reach the top.
@Iyervval & @sushantsareen brought in best Points for the BJP to atleast ponder upon and change the communication strategy.
Red-Green cabal is getting exposed as @aravind has always talked about.
@CharuPragya will hopefully take the message & acknowledge the SM narrative that harms the image of the Govt & the country.

Indian Navy strengthens its Anti-Submarine warfare capabilities with the commissioning of the INS Mangrol.
1. Designed to detect, track & neutralise submarines in "Shallow" coastal waters.
2. Over 80% indigenous content.

Why is this important?
Pakistan is acquiring 8 Chinese design AIP submarines (1 commissioned, 3 launched & 4 under construction), originally expected by 2028, enhancing its underwater stealth capabilities.
Shallow waters off the Gujarat–Maharashtra coast, along India's western seaboard facing Pakistan, are difficult to monitor due to underwater noise & complex acoustic conditions.
INS Mangrol will strengthen India's ability to counter submarine threats near strategic ports, naval bases & coastal waters.

Sept 2026: Odisha has approved 5 Semiconductor projects worth ~₹11,000 crore (~$1.15B), expected to create ~20,500 direct & indirect jobs.
2 of these projects are SiCSem & 3D Glass Solutions, have been approved under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) & construction has started.
At SEMICON India 2026, Odisha also received fresh semiconductor proposals worth ₹23,600 crore (~$2.46B), with ~6,100 potential jobs.
RIR Power's ₹618 crore (~$65M) silicon carbide (SiC) facility near Bhubaneswar is also nearing production.
India currently has 12 approved semiconductor manufacturing projects across six states.
