Josh Smith says retired NBA players who say theyβre dealing with mental health issues are just adjusting to life without the spotlight
βWhen guys get out the league and then they start screaming mental health, it kind of makes me mad because what was all that when you was in the league? Them owners and them organizations wouldn't have paid you all that money if they knew you had mental health problemsβ
βYou're just going through a phase in life where people walking past you, they're not asking you for autographs, theyβre not kissing your ass no more. And you have to figure out how to blend back in with society and be a regular person when it comes to going to parks, talking to civilians, fans, people that might not been on TV who you can't recognizeβ
βThat's the whole thing that you got to merge back into because when you in the NBA, it's just like any performer, when they're at their peak, they're enjoying life. It's like a dreamβ

The fact that Kobe wasnβt as good as athlete as the other two yet still accomplished all he did is NOT a knock btw
In fact, itβs a boost
Outside of 2003, the 2026 NBA draft class will go down as one of the best in NBA history.
Got scorers, playmakers, high-level role players, and a BUNCH of players who impact winning immediately.

NBA coverage has become so weak. Itβs now lead by men/women who didnβt play or LeBron stans/former teammates.

Stephon Marbury on the GOAT debate:π₯π₯π₯
"How is Lebron better than Jordan when hes not better than Kobe? I be trying to figure that out"
γΌ Source: οΌThe Mark Jackson ShowοΌ
Stephon Marbury is absolutely right.
LeBron should never be part of the GOAT conversation. Heβs a layup/dunk merchant who canβt shoot, lacks real skills, chokes in the clutch, and had to run to form superteams just to win his rings.ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
All of us NBA fans agree with Stephon Marbury 100%.
