The war in Gaza is not in the top 10 deadliest conflicts of this century.
It has no major economic impact, no critical resources, and no trade routes.
The world is obsessed with it for one reason: it involves Jews.
What’s one non-obvious technology or systems change you think may reshape college sports more than NIL or the playoff expansion over the next 5–7 years?
(Training AI, energy/stadium infrastructure, real-time analytics, recovery tech, something else?)
Or is everyone just here for the upsets and the memes?
Alberta has the energy, land, and will to host the AI boom.
Most of Canada does not.
The risk isn’t that AI changes everything. (That will happen regardless.)
The risk is that Ottawa treats Alberta’s advantage as a bargaining chip instead of an asset.
AI is by far the biggest play on the planet right now. Let's be in the game.
Looks like that NDP are crashing in BC.
Given the Cowichan ruling and that people may lose their property rights, and given the NDP net zero policies that harm the economy... There is not much incentive left to vote for the NDP.
Most teams don’t fail because of a lack of talent. They fail because of a lack of psychological safety.
Quiet signs your team has it:
• People admit mistakes without fear
• Ideas are challenged, not people
• Credit is shared, not hoarded
• “I don’t know” is acceptable
• Feedback goes both ways
Teams with high psychological safety consistently outperform those that don’t — even when talent levels are equal.
Which of these is missing on your team right now?
(politics, and workplace teams)
The fastest way to get better at anything isn’t more hustle. It’s protecting 2–3 hours a day where no one can reach you.
Most people avoid it because they’re afraid of what they’ll find when the noise finally stops.
Use this uninterrupted time for writing, thinking, planning...
Who’s actually done this for a full week? What happened?
SpaceX are bringing on-line 10GW a year...
And it reminded me of this scene.

Why are we pushing for an EU associate membrr status?
I don't remember being asked about it in a referendum.
And now it seems some EUembers are not happy as well.
Germany, France and at least six other EU countries are pushing against “associate membership” as the name for closer EU ties with Canada, six diplomats involved in the negotiations said. vist.ly/5pmj8

BREAKING: New footage shows the moment Islamists entered a church in Jordan and began slaughtering worshippers.
Six have been confirmed dead, with dozens more injured.
You mean politicians can't just tell disinformation?
🚨 BREAKING: Elon Musk indicates he's SUING Rep. Ro Khanna (D) after Khanna said Elon needs to answer for '4.5 million kids dying' because of DOGE cuts
ELON: "Time to sue this liar."
"The reality is that money was being sent to corrupt politicians under the guise of aid! Liars and stock insider traders like Ro the Robber should be in prison!!"
"The standard applied by DOGE was very simple and easy: Provide contact information for the recipients of aid, so that we can confirm it is not fraudulent."
Wow! @ElonMusk is going MAXIMUM FAFO MODE!
The EU is in economic stagnation, their elite had failed the population with net zero and uncontrolled unassimilated immigration. They face a civil war or conquest, even without the upcoming AI economic disruption.
Just look at France.
Why are we so eager to joining the EU exactly?
Turning Alberta natural gas into AI compute multiplies its value roughly 1,000×. Don't waste time on BC pipeline pipedream.
That’s why Meta is building a $9–13B AI campus in Sturgeon County with its own dedicated gas plant next door.
While California restricts, Europe delays, and places like Finland clear-cut forests for data centers, Alberta has the gas, the cold climate, the land, and the political will.
The grid is already full. Bring-your-own-generation is the rule. The request queue is in the tens of gigawatts.
Gas turbines today. Nuclear later. Compute we control—before Ottawa or anyone else writes the rules.
The window is short. Once robots start building data centers in orbit, the advantage shrinks.
Build it here, or stay a resource colony.
Alberta: are we moving fast enough?
