This morning cattle farmer Donovan Marx was attacked on his farm between Potchefstroom and Ventersdorpโผ๏ธ The attackers cut off his ears, shot him in the back (doctors are still trying to remove the bullet) and stabbed him in the leg. He is fighting for his life in a Potchefstroom hospitalโผ๏ธ
A farm worker was tied up by the attackers but managed to free himself and raise the alarm. The attackers fled in Marxโs bakkie and remain free. VF Plus says the full details of the torture are so disturbing they refuse to publish themโผ๏ธ
This is not ordinary crime, this is the same sickening pattern of extreme brutality, ears severed, severe beatings, shootings and stabbings, that has targeted white farmers for years๐ฅ

The Broadcasting Complaints Commission of South Africa (BCCSA) has dismissed eNCAโs application for leave to appeal against both its finding and sanction.
The news channel must now broadcast the prescribed correction and apology to Solidarity, unless it appeals again.
The case stems from a broadcast on 25 March 2026 in which eNCA presenters claimed that Solidarity had been spreading messages about genocide in the United States.
The BCCSA found that the broadcast created an inaccurate and unfair impression of Solidarityโs position.
Despite eNCAโs determined attempt to overturn the finding or have the sanction reduced, the original ruling therefore stands. The BCCSA found that eNCA had failed to demonstrate that the tribunalโs decision was clearly wrong.
