The 1st story I ever wrote for the @Oregonian while I was a senior at Oregon was about local Sheldon High defeating South Medford in football. Sheldon's QB threw for 292 yards and 4 TDs in pouring rain that night. His name was Brock Thomas. He declined offers, and instead, walked on at his dream school.
