Club for sale. Ten points from the first 8 games. Two wins in the league since March. Paper thin squad. One recognised striker. No Premier League standard right back.
Yet some Evertonians contort themselves into excusing this sorry state of affairs. Complacency FC. #Everton
Just seen Prince William on the Graham Norton show there. Shouldn’t he be busy princing in Wales? Or something.
This sums up the lazy, complacent mediocrity of #Everton. Three weeks ago the owners put the club up for sale. Now the manager is saying he’s having talks about a new contract! Ridiculous.

Here is George Clooney’s response after Trump accused him of being a "Hollywood elite."
"Here’s the thing: I grew up in Kentucky. I sold insurance door-to-door. I sold ladies’ shoes. I worked at an all-night liquor store. I would buy suits that were too big and too long and cut the bottom of the pants off to make ties so I’d have a tie to go on job interviews. I grew up understanding what it was like to not have health insurance for eight years.
So this idea that I’m somehow the “Hollywood elite” and this guy who takes a shit in a gold toilet is somehow the man of the people is laughable.
People in Hollywood, for the most part, are people from the Midwest who moved to Hollywood to have a career. So this idea of “coastal elites” living in a bubble is ridiculous. Who lives in a bigger bubble?
He lives in a gold tower and has twelve people in his company. He doesn’t run a corporation of hundreds of thousands of people he employs and takes care of. He ran a company of twelve people!
When you direct a film you have seven different unions all wanting different things, you have to find consensus with all of them, and you have to get them moving in the same direction.
He’s never had to do any of that kind of stuff. I just look at it and I laugh when I see him say “Hollywood elite.” Hollywood elite? I don’t have a star on Hollywood Boulevard, Donald Trump has a star on Hollywood Boulevard! Fuck you!"

Fantastic news. Well done @UsdawUnion ✊🏻
📣 John Lewis Partnership enters into collective agreement with Usdaw
Joanne Thomas, Usdaw General Secretary:
"We are delighted to secure a recognition agreement with such an iconic retailer as the John Lewis Partnership, which includes Waitrose supermarkets. Usdaw already has members working within the business and this agreement will strengthen that presence and help us in supporting and representing members across the Partnership. We now look forward to growing our membership and influence within the Partnership and to working with the Partnership's management on finalising the details of how the agreement will work in practice. Trade unions have a positive impact in the workplace, providing staff with support, advice and representation, while giving them a collective voice, and we urge other retailers to follow the lead of John Lewis Partnership by engaging with us.”

Today was a reminder of the disastrous #Everton transfer window. Time to strap ourselves in Blues 😬

An undercover investigation inside Reform UK’s political operation has found senior party officials saying they have to “defend the indefensible” when dealing with accusations of racism against party figures, with Nigel Farage told he was “protecting” one Reform candidate from being sacked for allegedly racist views.
ITV Exposure gained unprecedented access to Reform’s Westminster headquarters, sending in an undercover reporter inside the party in January 2026, where she worked as a press officer. She secretly recorded conversations between Reform officials as they dealt with multiple accusations of racism by Reform councillors and candidates.
Reform UK told us: “Not all individuals covertly recorded by ITV are members of Reform UK. Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced. In some cases, there have been suspensions and due process must be followed.
“Reform UK has improved and prioritised its vetting procedures, but from time to time, a handful of individuals who do not share our values will initially make it through vetting. This is the same for all organisations.
“There is no room for racism in Reform UK. We always respect due process of investigations and whilst these are ongoing it would not be appropriate to comment on individual cases.”
Watch ‘Undercover: A Year in Reform’ on ITV1 & ITVX from 10:20pm on Sunday
There are many of us who aren’t in the slightest bit surprised that Reform has become a home for vile racists.

Note to daft Evertonians who can’t help but see everything through an LFC context.
In 2008-9, Man City’s club sponsorship revenue was on a par with Stoke City. They eventually overtook Man United.
They cheated us all.
How much did Man City's rule breaking cost your team? bbc.in/4e5XG6o
Absolutely 💯 correct.
🗣️ "Bananas? I'll tell you what is bananas, it's bananas that the Premier League is telling us that a club is guilty of cheating and then we're all expected to crack on as normal."

Day 5 since #Everton announced they were effectively up for sale and still no comment from the not independent @EFC_FanAdvisory.
I can’t see a scenario where City continue to win games AND try and delay punishment even after the appeal, being in any way sustainable. It will make a complete mockery of the season.
The scoreline at Anfield illustrates the absolute nonsense this season will be for as long as Manchester City continue to delay justice.
