Devastated at the news of Sir Patrick Stewart's passing. 86 is a fine innings, but I really didn't realise he was that old, probably because he just always seemed so young and full of life. His acting roles speak for themselves, but lest we forget...

If Villeneuve sticks the landing - and we've no reason to believe he won't - we could be looking at the greatest film trilogy... ever?
Do not fear the end. Dune: Part Three only in theaters and IMAX December 18. Tickets on sale now around the world. fandan.co/DunePartThree #DuneMovie #FilmedForIMAX
Alright @grok ... very funny, now where's the real trailer?
The Cycle is pretty good. Ending could have been better, but it's fairly creepy with some impressive practical FX. Highly recommend not watching the trailer or reading much about it if you do plan to watch.

In 1999, Linda Cardellini said this in Freaks and Geeks. Who would’ve known that she would play Pamela Voorhees 27 years later.
There's no space at all between Batman Begins and Hot Shots! Part Deux, apparently.
Street Fighter was never going to be a dark, grounded Batman Begins-style movie, director insists — The studio wanted silliness and absurdity. bit.ly/4zMKDiP

Today I turn 88…I’ve seen some serious shit. The most serious of it all is love. I love my family, my friends, and my wonderful fans. The power of love remains.

Hard to believe one day this kid will go to hell, and space and make Freddy Krueger his b*tch! 🪓 🩸 #crystallake #jasonvoorhees #fridaythe13th
Seeing complaints that Crystal Lake is dumb and silly... have you seen ANY of the Friday the 13th movies? 😂 If anything, the series finds a way to add a bit of seriousness and pathos while also working as an OTT slasher throwback.

Critics say #StreetFighter is colorful, weird, noisy nonsense that is affectionately made for fans. editorial.rottentomatoes.com…
As a big fan of the games, I was able to have some fun with #StreetFighter, but it has a lot of problems. It nails some characters, makes a complete mockery of others, and the humor is below American Pie levels of juvenile (I lost count of the gay jokes).
The fight scenes are very well handled (which will be enough for some), but I wish the movie had taken itself just a *little* more seriously.
Ryu, Ken and Akuma are standouts. Chun-Li is unfortunately landed with the worst dialogue and a frankly bizarre subplot involving an obsessive colleague who touches himself during one of her fights (yes, really).
Bison is a creepy weirdo... and not in a good way. Blanka is mostly great but rubs his armpit and smells... you know what, I think the director may have some pretty messed up fetishes.
Finished #VisionQuest. Like a lot of these Marvel shows, it starts and ends well, but everything in between is a mixed bag. There are undeniable moments of brilliance (most of them supplied by Spader's Ultron), but the whole thing just gets a little tedious after a while, and the younger actors sometimes feel like they're in over their head.
Even so, most of the emotional moments do connect, and I'd say it's up there with the better D+ series, overall.
I've only seen the first episode of #VisionQuest (the screeners only came through a few hours ago), but it seems pretty damn good. Never really been the biggest Vision fan, but there are definite WandaVision vibes here, and I can tell James Spader is going to run away with it.
I've never been a big Friday the 13th fan, so I was surprised by how much I enjoyed #CrystalLake. Linda Cardellini is fantastic as Pam Voorhees, and the show features some of the most jaw-droppingly gruesome kills you can imagine.
